El Paladar Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Yauco

If I could give this place a 0 star I would.. This was my 1st and will be my last time visiting this restaurant. As soon as our group was seated I noticed our table was noticeably dirty. I called the front desk lady to ask for a cloth to wipe up the table and the lady lady simply replied, "that's actually just a stain" and walked off and refused to bring anything to clean it the dirty stained and wet spots. So we took our rubbing alcohol and food napkins to wipe it ourselves. So when our waitress arrived she had to provide separate napkins as we had to use all of our napkins to clean the very dirty table that staff refused to clean. Then we waited over an hour for the food and aside from the fact that the rice and beans were cold, I was not impressed with the cold cheap tasting steak. I also noticed the tostones were as flat as chips (truly a joke when it comes to food). The waitress on the other hand that took care of us was nice. The food was soo bad that even though we were hungry going in, we all left with leftovers and upset stomachs. I truly feel like there is room for improvement. But if they had a visible dirty table offered, I can only imagine how dirty it might be what we don't see. I could never recommend a place like this. Customer Service = 0 Food =...

This restaurant isn't really visible from the road since it's placed inside the mall but it's a well known place to eat with family and friends. As soon as you open the door you'll be greeted and ask if you want to sit on the first or second floor (you can even sit outside, but temperature is more comfortable inside). The food is really good and the prices mostly affordable. The "mofongo mixto", made of green and yellow plantains is delicious. Also the 'tapas' and appetizers are good too. Ordered takeout from here. We got mofongo de churrasco just to play it safe and it was so good. We really wanted to eat in but having a 4 year old son, it isn’t always possible. The restaurant was so busy, and we were so suprised due to it being a hidden gem. As soon as we walked in, we knew the food was going to be good.
