We were so excited to try this place as their menu sounded delicious. I suggested this restaurant for my Husband's birthday. We ordered through Postmates and then realized it added $40 in service, tax and delivery fees. So we requested it be ready for pickup instead. The bill was still $140. We ordered 2 orders of mozarella sticks and they tasted frozen and microwaved. Toough and chewy once we go them home (7 minute drive) 2 Orders of the Lobster Ravioli. -It was inedible at $21 a piece. It smelled and tasted like fish. I am not sure if it was imitation lobster, but it was not right. We also ordered chicken marsala and that turned out to be one large tenderized piece of chicken, bland put in with large penne pasta. The marsala sauce looked like it has broken, because there was not enough on the pasta. (took a few bites and that was it) We also ordered the tiramasu. The serving size was on the small size and too caky. Last we ordered a chocolate cannoli and it had been previously frozen. All in all, for $140 and to pick up? This was a colossal fail. We will never go back and would...
Read moreI went on an early Saturday night and it wasnt crowded. I am a hard grader so three is ok. This is everything you might expect from a suburban strip mall non italian first time restaurateur who bought an old place and repainted it. Just my descript on that I dont know. Stereotype everything. Replica photos and paintings of italy on wall and every stereotypical song playing. Food wasnt bad maybe too salty, as bagged tends to be, pasta was boiled from dried, and service was good, prices reasonable. Almost every italian dish one would want. Good selection variety from salads seafood sausage, etc. Wine list is blah. Chianti was meh. I didnt bother to ask for info on the bottle, etc. Bathroom was borderline clean in need of renovating. It was someones Bday and he wanted italian and I think he was satisfied especially since the waiter was nice. I would never go there again because I prefer to try for...
Read moreCame here for dinner on a Sunday based on Yelp reviews. We ordered the linguine frutti Di mare and fettuccine Del mare. Both entrées came with soup or Cesar salad and we opted for the salad. The food was delicious but the service and atmosphere was disappointing. There were only 2 parties at the restaurant, us and another large group. Our server did not come check on us throughout the meal only came at the end of our meal to fill our drinks when asked. You would figure they would be more attentive given there were only 2 tables occupied during our dinner service. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired since the other group was a large party, they were noisy. Due to the small dining room size, we could hear their conversations. Basically killed the mood for a romantic dinner. Was really hoping to like this place but when the service is bad it kills the good...
