Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Yorba Linda

Been going here for a while now. Not sure what's going on but something is definitely not clean here. Might be old food but I am assuming unsanitary conditions. I got food poisoning again from this place! Last time, I gave it a benefit of a doubt but this time for sure it was from here. Not sure if they are not wearing gloves or if the sandwich board is not wiped down/ sanitized. The bread tasted old, and lettuce and tomatoes tasted bitter like it was unwashed. Last time I was there, I literally a guy sweeping and pickup trash with his hands, then walk behind the prep area, not wash his hand and put on gloved to prepare a sandwich! Who does that?!? How can they not know dirty hands transfers onto the gloves when grabbing and putting on the gloves. Needless to say, these workers need proper training on Food Handling and Safety. Love Jimmy John's but never ever going to this...

Worse customer service I’ve experienced. I walked in for my lunch hour as I walked in no greetings no nothing there was one guy only waiting for his order I stood in front of the menu looking and I was ready to order stood there again waiting told myself they might be busy with the drive thru ok I waited more and a girl walks in she gets greeted by the manager or whatever he was and told her something else they had ran out. He proceeds to ask one of the guys to take her order and I just stood there in awe like are you serious right now I’ve been here in front of the counter waiting for someone to greet me or take my order. I just walked out I wanted to say something like hey I was here before her why are you taking her order but I just didn’t not with that...

It was my fiance Don's very FIRST TIME at Jimmy Johns. I've loved you guys since 2001 wayyyyy back in Alexandria, Minnesota. After a little hesitation and finally finding a store that was close and open we FINALLY made it thru the drive thru of Jimmy Johns!! I am happy to report he loved it just like I do!!! Unfortunately, Don has fallen so ill due to extremely bad asthma and asthmatic attacks!! I've been out of work to care for him and it's been hard on both of us. If I were still working I'd bring him JJ's every night or every day for lunch but I just can't afford it right now. Thanks for making a day we had...
