Maine Lobster Outlet — Restaurant in York

I am editing my review and changing my rating for the simple fact that the owner called me and offered a complete refund ,which I declined. Instead he sent me more lobster. As a businessowner myself, I am well aware that you can't always control what happens. It is how we react that counts. I ordered lobster for a celebration. Unfortunately, the order did not arrive as expected. Partly due to UPS not delivering as per their allotted time frame, but also due to the order not being filled appropriately. My order was for all pound and a halfers. But I received 2 that were under pound and a quarters. There was also a dead one that was being eaten by another. One of its claws had been eaten off and it had been dead for awhile. The meat turned to cottage cheese when it was cooked. This place is deceiving you would think that they are a very well organized and friendly establishment but they are not. I have been to this store three or four times and every time that I have stopped there the old guy at the counter has been very rude and repugnant, when I have asked a question about the prices or the product and he replies in a very rude way. I think it has a lot to do with the color off my skin because I have seen him interacting with other customers while I was there in a much friendlier tone. I suggest that customers use their own judgement after reading this prior to visiting that store although the staff is very friendly the old guy at the counter is a real jerk and not someone that I will be dealing with anymore you would think that they would be more appreciative of the business that tourist bring but I guess they're stuck in their...

Honestly, this place is underrated and I feel a little bad bragging on it because I don't want to wait in lines like you do at other places. But it deserves some props. I usually stop here for my first lobster roll into Maine and on the way out. Pretty reasonably priced and very very tasty. Honestly this is among my top favorite places in terms of their rolls. The meat is really good and pretty generous for the price. There's never really a wait and if I ever stood in a line it wasn't long enough to remember.
