Some Brewing Company — Restaurant in York

This was definitely a five star brewery. I am driving up to visit a friend's farm in Maine and needed a break. An ex used to live in York and raved about it. Obviously been there a few times but whenever I'm on a road trip I'Il check out local breweries among other destinations. SoMe was located not 5 mins off the highway behind a strip mall looking building.

Great beer. Friendly bartender. Clean venue. Lots of seating. Outdoor seating. Fooseball table. Free popcorn. Sports muted on TV. Amazing playlist--the Beatles, bare naked ladies, free bird, blues traveler, among many others with the classic rock, 90s alt, folk, classic Americana songs.

This is a rating for the hopeful musician to read and be weary of. We booked a date to perform here in July 2017 for October 2017, as part of our tour of all 50 states in one year. We got double booked, and we were told that it's not the responsibility of the booking manager, to manage the booking. We were then told it is our responsibility as a band living out of their van, to not only continue booking the rest of this tour, sift through hours of footage, edit said footage, set up and break down sound equipment, perform, drive for hours, and repeat... but also to remind people to do their job. Please excuse this rant, but do be cautious when booking here. At least...

Visited Some Brewing after receiving a recommendation from their sister brewery at York Beach. Loved it here! We had a few draft beers then bought a couple mix and match 4 packs to go. The bartender was welcoming and knowledgeable. She came over to visit with my family briefly when she had some down time, and took time to explain some of their beers so my wife and I could make an informed decision. Fun spot! Good merch, cool stickers, also loved their sticker wall in the men’s room. If we lived in this area we would definitely be regular customers. They had a popcorn machine which was kinda neat!
