I've had their food 4 times now, 2 perch, 1,burger and 1 shrimp.
The first time I went I got the perch and it was extremely good.
The 2nd time I had the shrimp and it was for takeout, very good though it had sat at home for about an hour before I was able to eat (working late, you understand).
The 3rd time was another perch again for takeout and again sat out at home due to late work but still very good. I love that they give syrup with the fish and potato pancakes, didnt think they would go having never heard of it but I greatly recomend.
4th time was a build your own burger with cheese, onion, bacon, mushrooms and a fried egg aswell as fries and a side order of mushrooms. Personally I could do without the bacon, it's not that it wasnt good, it was, but I'm just not a huge bacon person otherwise it was perfect. I just didnt realize when you order that lettuce and tomato dont come with without asking for them even though it's free. It's no complaint just a misunderstanding on my part. The mushrooms were probably my new favorite place for breaded mushroom outside of the county fair. Sorry but the fair has arguably the best fried food but Tin Can has the best when it's not fair season
5th time was the philly, I had it with steak and sweet potato fries and cheese curds all for takeout. Was good though I wish the steak and veggies were alot thinner. Very thick pieces, tasty, but very thick. Of all my times eating from here the philly was my least favorite but by no means do I dislike it. Curds were good, would get them again, my brother who had an identical meal to me tonight thought the same on the philly but has fallen in love with the curds
They've never disappointed. my only knocks on them were that one time I waited just over an hour for a table, then again it was the first week of lent so I cant totally put that on the restaurant. Plus they were trying to move as efficiently as manageable by the looks of it. The only other thing is I wish there was more perch on the plate, it's not that they dont give you enough, which they definitely do, but more of it's so good you want a whole second plate
The food is so good. I cant recomend enough, I've heard the pizza is good too but I've not had it myself but its been recommended to me a alot latelyâč
If I have any more food from here I'll definitely review it in the future so this review will be...
Read moreAs part of a group of 5 adults, we went to TinCAN Roadhouse for dinner this past Saturday Feb 20, 2021. We arrived to find the restaurant/bar rather busy and were not greeted by anyone, nor could we find a hostess station. Eventually after wandering around for a minute an individual, appearing to be a waitress, took down our name and advised it would be short wait for a table. Half of our group was able to order drinks at the back bar (kept open following a private event) About 30 minutes later, we were seated in the bar area. After about 35 minutes with no contact from our waitress, she finally arrived and took the remainder of the groups drink orders. Before ordering, one couple in our group requested to be placed on a separate check, the waitress informed that she was just trying to take a drink order and didn't need that information at that time. The drinks were delivered nearly 20 minutes later, a few questions were asked about the menu, and the waitress reluctantly got the information from the kitchen. Yes, it was busy, however, there was conflicting information between the specials and the regular menu and clarification would be helpful. Our food order was finally placed, the waitress did not return once during the following 40 minutes while we awaited our food order to see if we needed drink refills. Our food was finally delivered, and 3 of the 5 meals were cold. While I believe the food would have been rather good if it had been warm/hot, the service and lack of attention really did not make up for all the shortfalls. While delivering our second round of drinks during the meal, our waitress returned to the table actively crying. We are not heartless people, I felt badly that she was having such a stressful night at work. It is however very unprofessional. The management of this restaurant/bar may want to consider hiring more staff to take better care of their customers. It was a disappointing night out, that ended with our bill being messed up and just being ready to go home by the time we were able to just...
Read moreTonight 7/3/2025 was mexican night ...had the steak fajita was looking so forward to trying it but the quality tonight was just not there! The steak was tuff chewy and fatty! Red peppers only when it should have been a mix with onion. Called spoke with the owner Tina and she said oh ..that's too bad and that she will check things out in the kitchen! She apologized but never offered to replace the meal or credit the bad meal. Very disappointed as it was pricey and not edible! Will be going now elsewhere for Mexican night as the quality here is just not there...sad as tonight the owner just didn't care!
Now tonight 7/19/2025 two weeks later sitting at the bar with a few friends around us along with others and people dinning behind us experienced a very uncomfortable situation! The owner herself Tina personally brought us our 3 piece meal order to go and just didn't set it down infront of us she threw it down infront of us! She told me to check it! I looked at her and she became loud! She told me how dare do I give her a 1 star review! She made a lot of heads turn tonight as this was very unprofessional of her! Who does this? A business owner tries to fix an issue not create another issue! She wasn't backing off and my fiance had to step in and tell her enough! This was very uncalled for as I was literally verbally attacked by her! You have now lost a few local customers as we...
