IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Unbelievable. I was refused tap water. All the people standing around me were as shocked as I was. I had 3 other female bartenders happily fill my glass with water, 2 at the same exact spot I was refused and 1 inside. This particular bartender clearly couldn't do 2 things at once and again..in the time it took to tell me she would NOT give me water (which is refusing) - she could've simply filled my glass. The other bartenders managed to fill my glass while taking a drink order from the folks waiting. It's called multi-tasking. I can't believe I have to explain this. The law is the law. I'm certain a responsible bar owner would much rather lose a couple dollars in the 4 seconds it takes to fill a glass? rather than risk his/her license to a drunk driving lawsuit. Now that this is documented, and this is the owner's response (sounds like the bartender wrote the response, at least let's hope) - it's an open door to any lawsuit. If an over-served patron (which on this day, there were several dozen falling-down drunks) went to that bartender and was refused tap water- then left and got into a car and killed someone- Crickets (and that bartender individually) would be responsible legally. It's illegal to serve alcohol to an already inebriated patron...and it's certainly illegal to refuse them tap water if they are trying to sober up. Educate yourself and your employees. It does not matter if it was St Pats..it doesn't matter if water was being sold..if you SERVE alcohol, you have to provide FREE drinking water. End of story. Use common sense. It's a shame your response was an excuse.
Was refused tap water. In the time it took the short-haired female bartender to tell me they didn't "have time for that" - she could've filled my glass with water. The owner should educate his/her employees that it is ILLEGAL to refuse tap water in an establishment that serves alcohol... even if they are selling it by the bottle. I spent quite a bit of money - and wasn't just drinking water. Had dinner, drinks for 4 friends, plus tips... and was the designated driver. This was a first - to be denied water...and with an attitude. We will...
Read moreFood is really good, been there many times however after the last not sure I want to go back. Went with my fiancé and grandmother last week. My fiancé was asking for the servers option between boneless wings and buffalo chicken pizza. She recommended the pizza. Then I ordered the bone in chicken wings special. Food comes out I was brought boneless wings. Kindly stated I wanted the bone in wings. Server yelled at me that is not what you ordered, you said boneless. My grandmother and fiancé both said no she said bone in. She goes well next time just say the special. (I’m my head saying you want the special is more confusing considering it’s quite a list for specials, a ton of options) but I said ok sorry. She stormed off and later comes back to apologize she swore I said boneless. Easily could see the confusion since it was one of the items my fiancé asked about and wasn’t mad. But definitely humiliated I got yelled at by a server for...
