My family wanted to try a different place for mariscos since the one on Colusa hwy is super salty now. Well, we decided to try this place and we're extremely disappointed. I called to place my order and they were extremely sweet and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was towards the end of the phone call I asked for my total and she couldn't give me an answer. Okay, not a big deal. I ordered a plate of camarones y pulpo a la cora and the pulpo was pretty burnt. It was supposed to come with a salad but it was literally two pieces of cucumber and not even a handful of lettuce or whatever else they put in their salad. The beans, rice and shrimp were good though. We also ordered some shrimp cocktails. Med size were not worth it. Just get the large if you decide to come here. We bought 1 large and 3 mediums. They were flavorless lol EXTREMELY disappointed. I had to add so much tapatío and ketchup so I could eat it. The shrimp in the cocktail were also a little bit overcooked. The agua de horchata was flavorless too. We did not like it at all. The only thing we liked were the shrimp empanadas and the dipping sauce for it. All in all, this is the last time we come here. It's not worth the price and how the dishes are made. They either need a new cook or teach the one they have. Extremely...
Read moreI've driven by this place many times thinking I should give it a try. It's in a small lot next to a laundromat and a gas station, so possibly not ideal, but I'm a firm believer that sometimes humble locations turn out to be the best places. I finally made my way in this week and was blown away. Though there wasn't many diners, the decore was very charming. The nautical theme was everywhere but very tastefully done in soft blues and distressed white. It was obvious it had been redecorated recently and they had given a lot of attention to details. My partner and I were greeted warmly by our waitress who sat us immediately. She was speedy and very polite for our entire dining experience. The menu was awesome, mostly featuring fresh Mexican seafood options, a few more "American" dishes such as shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, and some non seafood Mexican options such as chicken and beef burritos and tacos. I ordered the seafood tower for $16 and gasped when it came. It was so impressive! Easily enough food for two to share. A tower of shrimp, octopus, ceviche, and crab served with home made sauces and tostada shells to eat it with. It was delicious. I can't recommend this place enough. Look past the location and give it a try. You won't be...
Read moreThe food was good the muscles kinda over cooked! My bill came out to $130 paid my bill two days later I checked my account they charged me twice $128 and $130 and $8.99 when I called the manager she asked me for proof so I went down there showed her on my account that I was charged twice by her restaurant she told me to contact my bank to see why I was charged twice cause on her end it showed me being charged once my response was that first charge could have been deleted by anyone that works there that has access to machine she didn't know what to say! That's not good business seems shady to me. I don't recommend anyone going there and paying with debt or credit card cause you will end up with fraud on your account and they won't refund it! Just horrible not the...
