I am a local person we live here year around, we discovered this place and had lunch, very good. How ever the last three time eating there for the evening meal, not so good 1st ordered the same receipt when served there was no sauce, took it up front and asked for the sauce, was told that no sauce came with it. Looking at the menu it did and had always had sauce. 2 nd : ordered it again and asked to have the sause with it, the waitress said she would make sure it came with the sause, she said she remembered me the last time and the issue with the sauce, I always ask for number 2 for the amount ot hotness, got my meal and it was so hot I could not eat it, third, We went there last night, march 4th, evening meal, decided to get a different plate, got the pork plate, it came and looked more like a appitazer, than a meal plate, I had asked for no carrots and bell peppers, the plate had pork on it and some cabbage and brackalee, not cooked just raw, the pork was black burnt. I had to ask for a knife to cut it, no taste except for charred meat taste, raw veggie and burnt meat not my idea of a $15.00 meal. the waitress never came back to see if the meal was good. I went up front to pay for the meal when asked how was the meal, Not good and why. reply sorry, and then charged me full price for the meal. three strikes and you are out..... I will never...
Read moreA Touch of Thai! This is the original Touch of Thai (formally Red Rose Touch of Thai) restaurant in the Foothills. My first taste today! Of course, these are COVID-19 times, so everything is take-out, however, if you're a Thai-foodie, then you'll love the authentic food they prepare for Take-Out. I ordered the Spicy Noodle from their "Lunch" menu and was REALLY surprised by the serving size. Lets just say I'll have plenty for dinner, too! When you order, they'll ask what "Heat" level you want (1 to 5, 5 being hottest). I like quite a bit heat, but said two, since this was my first time. This was plenty heat for me. If you don't like it too hot, I'd start with one and get chile oil on the side if you need to add more heat. The Spicy Noodles with Chicken (a choice of beef, tofu, vegetable, shrimp & mixed seafood) was delicious and I could really taste the Thai Basil they add. Topped with broccoli, carrots, green onions, and bean sprouts, too! This dish has a generous amount of their "House" sauce throughout dish and it was really good. Needless to say, after dropping a five star, I highly recommend Touch of Thai. Can't wait to try their "Pumpkin Curry" on my next...
Read moreThis was our first time dining at A Touch of Thai. The restaurant is in a somewhat hidden location, so I had never noticed it. The atmosphere is a step up from fast food with a variety of seating options. The food is cooked to order, and the service is excellent. We ordered Spring Rolls and Yum Woon Sen with chicken to share. The Spring Rolls were awesome, but the Yum Woon Sen was a little bland. You can choose your heat level, and we had chosen #1 (mild). I would probably increase to the 2nd level heat for any future visits. We shared the Fried Banana Ice Cream for dessert which was yummy. We will be back and can recommend you try as well. Note that if you want to do take out, I would recommend you call rather than go directly to the restaurant. I notice a couple of customers waiting for their order for a very long time. (Remember, each meal is...
