Terrible. I'm honestly disappointed in this restaurant. It's nice that they touched up the building to make it look all brand new and clean but that doesn't make it any better when you walk in and get hit by the stench of sewer and fart, and no, it's not the beans. The service is okay, it's sadly funny how hard they're trying to appease customers by making all the employees there scream "hi, welcome!" Only to be met with them trying to smile but it usually ends up looking more like a grimace. They aren't even friendly most of the time, just faking it out of obligation and its so very obvious. For the restaurant not being so busy(and I can understand why, I wouldn't want to come to this particular del taco.) it takes awhile for the food to be done, and half of the reason why this is a problem is because they only have 2 workers working most of the time, the other half i simply don't know. As for the food, it's ok. Not in the "Wow, this tastes fine, I might order this again." But in the "hm, this is okay, but nothing to write home about. I can't believe i wasted 14 dollars on this. " And the prices are so so high for such mediocre and small portions and service. Also... don't EVER come here at night!! Just don't. I'm warning y'all!! They just about only have ONE worker working as a cook and a cashier at nighttime and if you thought this restaurant's quality to be already bad as it is, it gets even lower come nights. I remember going here and ordering a beef burrito, and this was like 3 months ago, and tell me why i get a lean beef burrito ON OZEMPIC!! I'm talking about it looking like a NEEDLE! To this day I am kicking myself for not snapping a pic and showing y'all. Also this place is really stingy with their sauce, napkins, bags, and everything. It's not the workers, it's the MANAGEMENT forcing them to give y'all 2-3 sauce packets and 1 napkin. I've overheard a manager telling a worker to just give a customer through the drive thru a little amount of sauces, so instead of that person getting 5 packets for their combo burrito and fries, they got 3. The managers are stingy and rude. The DM is nice, but she is also very stingy, and the whole vibe of the store just changes when either one of them appears, and it's not a good feeling. I feel bad for the employees, it's like everyday a new one appears and others disappear like fast clockwork. If you have employees quitting or leaving like that then that says something about the current management and environment of this chain and franchise. Definitely time to get new management. I've been to a few del taco restaurants, and usually I have very nice things to say about them, especially about the ones in Phoenix, absolute amazing service and quality in food!! But this one... if you want your experience in del taco to be a good one, DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE! Anyway, the only good thing about this del taco, but this goes for all of the del taco chains, is their fries, double del, ranch, fish tacos, and fried caramel cheesecake bites, other than that I again recommend that you don't go...
Read moreI don't know what happened here, maybe they were running out of produce to use. First off we came in about 4:15. There was only 2 people working at that time. They were slow to take our order. I was ok with that since these 2 people were trying to handle the register, the counter, the drive thru and make the food... my gripe was the food. My husband ordered a macho combo. That burrito was nothing but beans. Nothing close to the picture. Couldn't find any lettuce in it or any other produce. The 'meat' amounted to a few crumbles swimming around in the beans. The way it was rolled up and with the consistency close to soft ice cream that burrito fell completely apart in less than a minute. I had to get him a plate and fork for him to even eat it. (We are not new to eating burritos. We've lived here 15 yrs and eat them a lot. There's many great burrito places in yuma) Then my burrito was a 8 layer burrito, it wasnt much better and again where was the veggies, it was mainly beans, a couple bites of tomato. For $18.62 we could have went to a regular restaurant and got a real meal. This was very disappointing. Also why did the salads change. No more shells. We used to come in there just for the salads for that reason. I'm actually very laid back when it comes to giving people a break, especially when it comes to food service cause I know it can be brutal. I've cooked professionally and have even ran a couple kitchens in my 30 yr food service industry...in fact I'm still cooking... so I understand but this situation needed to be addressed. With this industry being as competitive as it is now days it doesn't take long for word to get out... and there goes the business. Hoping my next visit (yes, I will give it another shot sometime down the road) will make up for this...
Read moreWorst customer service Iâve ever had anywhere. Ordered 2 burritos. Order girl said drive forward. Nobody in front of me and got to window. Gave price quoted by girl at window. .0001 seconds later here comes my order. Asked for hot sauce which met with an âuggggghhhhâ. Handed the bag and saw burrito missing. Explained 2 for 6 deal. Another lady in restaurant argued I said 1 and thatâs what I got. Told them I wanted the 2nd at 2 for $6 deal. She said no. If I want another then Iâll pay another $4.74. Then was told 2nd burrito is now. 3.47. Asked how she got that cost and again berated saying thatâs the cost. Manager arrives and acts as though place is on fire claiming I canât stay in line to resolve as another customer ordered and coming around drive thru line. Notified manager I had been at window no more than a minute and her time constraints her district manager required omitted correct orders. Manager became hostile about getting customer behind to window to pay and demanded I leave. Then panicked and said. Come inside or leave. I left knowing the customer was not right and even me asking for other burrito was not going to get 2 for $6. This location handles people as a number not a person. I could see 1 employee talking at me but 3 was more like a scene from a...
