Mary Lee Donuts — Restaurant in Zachary

Dounuts are my favorite...but this place is NEVER OPEN!! Like today...it's 8:55am on a Saturday.....CLOSED. They say they close at 11am.....but by 9am there aren't any more dounuts so they close. THAT'S 2 HOURS AND THEY CAN'T MAKE ANYMORE DOUNUTS??!! They would get 4 stars MAYBE 5 stars if they were EVER open. But since if I want a dounut I gotta be there by 7 am and wait in line on them to cook some dounuts cause they are already running out, I gotta drop to 2 stars. It's that frustrating. But very good and at least they are always fresh in this sense. Just gotta be there soon as daylight cracks to get lucky enough to get hassle...

It's Valentine's Day Friday February 14 2025 we get there at 6am after they open at 5am they literally have 2 glazed donuts left and only a couple others to choose from with a line backed up out the door....I repeat it's VALENTINE'S DAY she told us to come back in a hour!!!!! Extremely poor planning on the part of the manager. Stopped in at 5:30am. The shop was open with an open sign — which I appreciated. The worker was helpful, but not overly eager. I will be honest, I expected a larger quantity of donuts and a larger selection. However, they had the white iced ones I had come for, but only 6. So I got them all. I wish they had another 6 available as I actually desired a dozen.

The flavor of the donuts was very good — a quality product! Tasty for sure! Overall a good experience, just can’t quite call it...
