Ditty's Downtown Deli — Restaurant in Zanesville

We found this hidden gem of a deli on 4th Street, just down from Elk's Eye Endeavors. Don't let the prices scare you - these sandwiches are LOADED with high quality ingredients. Although I was ready to order the ham and colby, they introduced me to their new pickle bun - a HUGE pickle stuffed with bacon, turkey, cheese, cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard. FLAVOR BOMB for someone who should be gluten free! I will definitely order this again (will hope to order a peanut butter and bacon stuffed pickle ♡). Aside from a GREAT sandwich menu, they offer locally made chips, an extensive hot drink menu (coffees, etc), soft drinks, and what looks to be homemade sides. We were camping at Dillon State Park and ran into Zanesville to eat somewhere else that didn't open till 4pm. So I saw this on Yelp and ran over for quick sandwich and We are so HAPPY we did!!! This place is Awesome. Good selection of Sandwiches including my favorite a Rueben and my wifes fav a Muffeletta. The sandwiches feature a pile of fresh cut meat and awesome cheese. The service was great, the prices are excellent. MY only complaint is you can tell the iced tea is brewed through the coffee pot as it had a strong coffee taste to it. I've frequented the place many times. The staff is ambivalent to cold in general (they make a good muffelatto is why I go). Today I walked in and listened as Ditty explained to a cop why Sterling Brown deserved what he got, which is tased and assaulted by 8 cops for parking in a handicapped spot.
