Wow! This was absolutely a delightful meal! Perfectly cooked. So, so good!!! Our waiter came by the table often. Plus other staff kept an eye on us as well. They were moderately busy. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared. My Chili Relleno was one of the best I've ever had. And I'm 70 years old, I've ordered lots of Chili Rellenos from Alaska to New Mexico. From Washington, Nevada to Arizona. This one was a treat! My Pork Tamal was also extremely good. The sauce with it was so good I wanted take a gallon home. My husbands meal was also excellent! The menu here was large. There were items I had never seen on a menu before. Other plates passing our table looked equally as pleasing. We ate at the Zilla location. Won't come back again-EVER! Placed a call in order and the lady was rude as she kept going, yeah, yeah,yeah,yeah,yeah. She wouldn't let the order be placed. Then she got the entire order wrong! They need to be silent on the phone and listen to the customer instead of just being rude and listening to themselves. Called back to complain that they forgot a part of my order. She answered and said, WELL WE DIDN'T CHARGE YOU FOR IT! As if that was ok! I guess it's ok that you place an order with them and then they forget half of it or better yet never include it and waste your time. I have been coming to El Portón here in Zillah FOR YEARS!! I have never been disappointed. My family and I always come here because the food is hot and delicious. The customer service is great. Honestly love having this restaurant in town it’s my favorite. I love that we can call ahead of time and order food and use the drive thru. I’m not going to complain about prices because EVERYONE is raising prices. The cost of inflation is crazy everywhere. The place is kinda small, so obviously it’s going to be loud, but I love it.
