Terrible customer service! We ordered at the drive thru two cheeseburgers with no mustard, flame thrower (no mustard, no bacon), tried to order an Oreo shake and Oreo dirt cake(no gummy worms) Was told that Oreo shake wasn’t an option and that we needed have it rung up as a vanilla shake with added Oreos as it was told was super rude.
We get to the window as we handed over the card. We ask for a receipt and the rude pink hair lady snaps back “we always hand back receipts” As she stood in the window, my husband said excuse me several times due to a wrong charge and then she walks always. The other worker with blonde hair who was next to the other lady was asked excuse me as well which completed ignore my husband. Once she came to the window, I had asked why I was charged with two double cheese burgers instead of two cheeseburgers due to the 2 for 5 deal. She said I repeated it several times your order. ( which was not true ) she repeated herself the one time and did say two cheeseburgers with no mustard. She continues to argue with me about this. I said fine forget the order I just want my refund if this is how your customer service is. She then says she cannot do this and has to get the manager . Okay cool! Then the manager comes up and here I’m explaining what is going on. She doesn’t even listen and didn’t apologize for the rude customer service. I asked for a complete refund. She then gives me my card back and I asked is this a complete refund? She said no just for the 2 for 5 deal? I said no I want a complete refund. She said I’m not going to do that. I said why ? She said because I’m not. Again I said why? Your customer service here was super rude. She then goes I’m not going to refund you and give you your order. I said I don’t want the food! I want my refund and I don’t want to continue my order. I will take my service somewhere else. As she tells her coworkers that I want a complete refund With the drive thru window open. Another worker says wow! They all talk amongst themselves. ( at least shut the window) Manager hands us the receipt and says here is your refund.
It was uncalled for to be treated this way when we were nothing but polite to them until it was necessary to being stern towards them. It’s sad that at this time , they weren’t in a rush. I honestly probably would of been more understanding if they were in a rush and stressed out with some of rudeness. We will not go here just from this...
Read moreAnother poor experience. I'm not sure how they stay open or why the owner even wants to. Because clearly he makes no effort to bring this restaurant up to the standard of other Dairy Queens.
The bacon on our bacon cheeseburger was undercooked. Our french fries that were warm we're clearly hardly cooked, saturated with grease, and had no crispy outer texture.
The men's bathroom was very dirty, the soap dispenser was physically broken, the paper dispenser was out of paper, but a roll was set on top of the toilet and was dirty.
The floor in the main lobby area where you place your order was grimy, slippery, and clearly had a film over it. This extended throughout the seating area.
They also have a Coca Cola soft drink machine in the lobby for self service. Unfortunately sparkling water was the only diet option available. There was no lemonade or Diet Coke or Diet dr. Pepper or anything else similar. Most of the options were greyed out so that you could not select them.
It was also was very slow to get our food. I really wish and hope that Dairy Queen corporate would be looking at these reviews and shut the store down or force change in management or ownership. They should be fined $1,000 or $2,000 a day for every day they stay open under their current condition. It's completely unacceptable and a misrepresentation...
Read moreI use to love getting Dairy queen in Zimmerman, over the last few months i find myself willing to teavel to elk river for DQ rather then going to the DQ a quarter mile from my home. Today took the IceCream cake... i ordered 4 - 4 peice chicken strip baskets. I knew my order wasn't small so i went into the restuarant to place my order. It took a half an hour until i got my food. 20 minutes into waiting i had the drive through attendant ask if i was order 87 (I was). She informed me that my food was given to the wrong customer. Accidents happen however, the fact that i had already waited 20 minutes was frustrating. The manager just looked at me and said, sorry about that you can take a seat. As i waited for my food i saw 10 different sets of customers order and get there food before I did. In the restuarant and fast food world Customer service is what keeps people coming back. I could have called applebees in elk river, drove there, picked up 4 chicken strip meals, and gotten home faster then going to the Zimmerman Dairy Queen. I will be calling to talk with the manager (he may be the only person who truely cares about his job at this establishment). I highly recommend getting food from another...
