So i have to start my review by saying up until our scenario tonight i would have given 5 stars. We've been regular customers for breakfast for years. Food and service has always been excellent. So we decided to try them for dinner. Literally terrible from start to finish. We ordered an appetizer thst never arrived not the end of the world but when our food came out and we hadnt gotten the app we of course no longer wanted the app and asked for it to be removed from our rab ok no worries. My husbands food order was incorrect it still tasted good so he said oh well im just going tonear it, vut let the waitress know rhrn we get to my food a chicken breast sandwich it was so so overcooked dry it was like dust i tried 3-4 bites to see if i could choke it down but i honestly couldn't i really hated to complain but it was unedible the tater tots so undercooked they fell apart. I let the waitress know she offered to have it remade but at this point my husband was almost done so i declined and said just take it off the bill. We waited and waited for our tab finally our waitress returned looking embarrassed and twlls us im really sorry i can only take half your sandwich price off the bill my manager says you ate half. I was literally flabbergasted first of all i hadn't eaten anywhere near half and 2nd we literally had everything involving our meal messed up we didnt complain we were very polite and now you arent going to refund a meal that was absolutely so awful i couldn't eat it. We were blown away. Here is where things got even worse we asked to speak with the manager and were told the manager was not in the restaurant she was at home and our server was required to text her about our redund and send her a picture of our meal and this was how she determined id eaten to much to be given a refund on my awful food. We asked if we could speak to someone our poor waitress i felt awful for her said you canntry the bartender who then threw our waitress under the bus saying she had incorrectly put in our app and that why it didnt come out first so they MADE HER PAY FOR IT flabbergasted is an understatement. We explained the sandwich her comment oh i never eat our chicken breast sandwich its always very dry 😳 when we refused to pay for it she told us then our waitress would have to 😳 we asked if we could talk to the manager onnthe ohine she told us no she wasnt going to bother her at home, bit there was no one else thst could remedy the scenario and redund our uneaten food price. Never have i had such AWFUL customer service and even worse i can't believe they treat their employees this way fricken shameful! To our waitress if you read this were so sorry youranager and place of employment treat you this way you did a great job there are plenty of other place to waitress at that have management that care and our present and treat their employees with...
Read moreThe worst restaurant experience I've ever had! Bad food and horrific service. Even the water was gross. Some background, there was four of us in early evening on a Friday. I also have years of back & front of house experience and as such am more understanding of servers, up to a point.
First off, we waited over 5 minutes just to get menus (it's self seat). Less than 2 minutes after placing our orders, we noticed that while prime rib wasn't on one of the special boards it was on another. We asked the server if it was available right after she walked away from entering our order and she said, "Yes but I just entered your order and it can't be changed." She wouldn't even go check with the back of the house if they'd already fired it or not. We then waited at least 47 minutes for our food, with no word from her at all. We were 5 minutes away from walking out. There is NO WAY a hot turkey sandwich takes 47 minutes to make and no excuse to not change it out only 20 seconds in. I'm surprised she didn't lie and say they were out of it but then she couldn't rub in what a crappy server she is and that we're at her mercy.
I ordered the chicken strip dinner with tots, ranch, and buffalo sauce ($0.75 extra for the additional sauce). The only good thing about it was the ranch. I love buffalo sauce, have been known to drink it plain sometimes and did not think it was possible to make bad buffalo sauce. Boy was I wrong, it was closer to marinara with a teeny tiny bit of bad BBQ sauce added. Sure am glad I spent an extra 75¢ for that and it comes in a smaller container than the ranch. The chicken strips and tator tots looked good however they tasted fishy. Not a little fishy, like pure fish. My mouth tastes like I ate a fish dinner almost 2 hours later.
The other 2 people got breakfast items and neither of them ate even 1/4 of their food saying: the hashbrowns were disgusting, the toast was rock hard, jelly smelled nasty, sausage patty was hard & overcooked, and the CFS was mostly breading.
When she asked us how our food was and we said not good and everything tasted fishy she said not even half heartedly, "I'm sorry" and then walked away. She came back less than a minute later with a bill asking if we wanted it split or not. I said split please and she replied, "I already have it on one right here sooooo." We said that's fine. But why offer if you're going to make a big deal about splitting it?
When asked to speak with the manager, surprisingly there wasn't one available. Two of the people have been there once before and said it wasn't terrible like this. They must have just had a lucky fluke then because there's no way with that hostile server and the other reviews I've read about the horrible buffalo sauce and fishy fried goods that it's the other way around.
I do not recommend wasting your time and money at this place. You've...
Read moreWe were bowling so I can't comment on the bar area. Place was clean. Balls were organized, which I really appreciate! Computers were a bit finicky, but we didn't have a single issue with the pin-setters! The blacklights were fun. There are a few arcade games and all appeared to be working. Music might have been a nice touch? The food was ehh. Mini tacos were average. Mozzi sticks below average. Onion rings average. Fries below average. Mixed drinks inconsistent- great cocktails but 2 people ordered rum & coke and one was mostly coke, the other 90% rum. They were quick at getting our shoes and getting the lanes set up. They worked with us to split the bill how we wanted it. The wait-service was lacking but I feel everyone's entitled to a rough night? There were maybe 4-6 lanes in use when I was there (we were 2 of them) and the waitress missed a couple of our drinks. We kept thinking we'd mention it when she came around to ask us how we were liking things, but 15 minutes go by and you realize she isn't coming cuz you watched her stand behind the counter and stare off into space for the last 5. Lol. To be honest, she may have been suffering from heat exhaustion because for whatever reason... the bar was cool, but the bowling area was hotter than it was outside. And I'm talking... like 6:30pm, in August, and we went outside to catch a breeze and cool off. Pulling ice out of our drinks to press to our necks to cool off. Is it broken and they can't afford to fix it? Did they cut post-Covid-closing-costs by shutting off the air? If that's the case, couldn't they at least cool it to, like, 75 for the evenings? I don't want to go back if it's that hot again. Everything else was completely avoidable, manageable, or excusable,...
