I have been in a forgiving mood since the start of the year. I went to this location yesterday and ordered my food on the Uber Eats app, and then I went inside to ask the gentleman to cook my food a little bit longer since I’ve had a lot of issues here in the past with the French fries being gross and cold. On Uber Eats they say you get white bread with the meals and a side of fries. I stated on my last review here that they do not ever give you bread anymore so I’m confused on why they continue lie, and yes I mean lie, about adding bread into the boxes. Remove the word bread from your Uber Eats account. You don’t provide this, stop saying you do. They also still call themselves Red JJ Fish and Chicken, change your name on the app. These are basic things businesses do, ie provide accurate information on your business name and what you are actually getting in terms of sides with the things you are ordering. All of that aside, the food was cooked correctly although I had to describe how I wanted it all twice with the man, first when I went inside and then when I came back in to get my order. He asked me to confirm the order with him on the Uber Eats app, I’ve been asked this before at this location. No other restaurant that I pick up from on Uber Eats has ever asked me and stopped me from taking my food to show them that I ordered it on the app. This is bizarre since I came in the first time to tell you that I just placed an order. The man made me show him that I picked up my order on the app. But all that said, he cooked the wings perfectly and the French fries he cooked extra longer but in my estimation they should always be cooked like that to begin with. The lemon pepper seasoning was abysmal and definitely not a “regular” amount of seasoning but they actually gave me my extra lemon pepper cup this time so that was fine. Over all, this is still a hassle and a lot of work involved to just make sure they are making it right, and they are still engaging in false advertising despite how little that falsehood may be. The rugs were clean when I went inside and the smell of incense was actually pretty good although the aesthetics of the restaurant still scream “no one is in charge of this chaos.” If you order from this location, before you leave make sure you check that everything was made to your specifications and make sure you tell them your specifications, do not be afraid to tell them what your standard is.

Also, why was my sauces and extra lemon pepper placed in a Jewel brand pharmacy bag? Not a good look at all. At this point I’d volunteer to provide concrete ways of making this a healthier...

NOW LET ME START BY SAYING I USE TO LOVE THIS PLACE (about 6months ago!!! )…

So it’s been about 5-6 months since I went to jjs because I been cooking a lot lately… usually I never had any problems… but today was unbelievable… first thing is my meal was literally balled up in a brown paper bag ! My food was not covered or anything it was just thrown into a bag and balled up !! NEXT… my fries was sooo HARD it felt like a potato chip !! I orders a side a cheese that’s usually 50cent … they charged me a 1.00 for it … tell me why the cheese was cold ?? Like it just came out of the refrigerator!!!! Usually the cheese is warm and ready for you to dip! Not today !!!! Next they charged me 9$ and some change for the smallest 3 piece wing meal I have ever gotten from them … it was Soo small it looked like a kids meal … I’m only 5’2 and weigh 130lbs why is my left hand bigger than my 9$ almost 10$meal !!!!! What was the point of raising the price if you was going to take away from the meal …. Honestly every time I go I have gotten the same thing which was 5.99 for the meal and the drink was included in that!!! Plus 50cent cheese !!! The drink here was 1.50$ and it was just a can soda !!! Next why was my chicken NOT FRESH& WHY ARE THEY SOOO SMALL NOW!!! This chicken was obviously sitting back there for a while because it sure was not fresh like it normally is !!!

I do not know what’s going on in there now but all I know is THIS WAS UNSAT !!!! They need new management or something ( or maybe they are under new management now ) because I never would’ve thought I would be writing this post...

I ordered 3 meals (3 catfish fillets with a drink, that came with fries and bread,) 3 large chicken tenders with a drink and fries and white bread, and 16 piece shrimp with a drink but special requested no fries or white bread. I also choose the option for NO lemon pepper for all 3 meals. Driver brings us our food, and 1: everything has been covered in lemon pepper, 2: there were none of the three drinks we had ordered (a grape, a strawberry and a cola), 3: none of the meals had white bread, 4: and all meals including the shrimp, had fries. we had asked for the shrimp meal to not come with fries. The saddest part is that the chicken tenders, catfish and shrimp were all beautifully cooked, and if the hell of lemon pepper were not on them, as we requested, we would have really enjoyed our meals. FINAL THOUGHTS: don't do take out, they can't follow directions. You might have better luck...
