As Georgian, I am very happy to know that Georgian cuisine is presented in a such good and authentic way in "Gruzinka" restaurant. I was at home with home food, as authentic as if I went out dinig in Tbilisi. The menu is well structured it is really very difficult to keep the menu close to Georgian in country where pork is not eaten, so the cook has great choise of the dishes. I've ordered the Ojakhuri and the wallnut eggplant, bith dishes was extremely good, so that I even wondered if the cook was Georgian. The place can compete with any Georgia located restaurant indeed. I got wonderful service, the young girl is wonderful "Solnyshko" of the place, - vibrant and so positive. The lady manager wonderful who tells and explaines about the dishes with great love. In country of "Manti" serving "Khinkali" is a great courage and I really appreciate this. Budget wise, I found this palce extremely good in terms of money value. I woud recommend the ,"Gruzinka" restaurant for the group dinners, with good choise of the shared meal options as well as for the nice coupe dinners. The ambience in the restaurant is great, the Georgian music is not loud at all so one can talk and have goode time. All in all, big huge love to all who let me feel home food and gave...
Read moreWe were so delighted with Gruzinka that we came back twice in two days! Gruzinka has a very cozy atmosphere, the food is to die for (my mother had tried Georgian food for the first time on the first day and insisted to go back for Khachapuri the day after) - both Adjarian and Adjarian with pesto and tomatoes khachapuris are good. Khinkali and salads also highly appreciated. Both evenings we were served by Afruza who was just perfect - so nice and professional. Quality/price ratio is excellent: for 2 khachapuri, 2 salads, 3 khinkalis and 1 beer we spent about 360,000 UZS. It is definitely one of the best Georgian restaurants that I have tried...
Read moreMy first time trying Georgian food — I ordered Chashushuli, Chakhokhbili, Adjarian Khachapuri, and Country-style potatoes. Chashushuli is beef stewed with tomatoes, Chakhokhbili is chicken stewed with tomatoes, Adjarian Khachapuri is cheese baked with pizza-like dough, and the Country-style potatoes were basically fries. The flavors were quite nice, and I think most Chinese people would find them easy to enjoy. At first I thought the waiter with a serious face might be unfriendly, but it turned out the service was actually very good — probably just his...
