Despite some of the reviews, I am glad we decided to try this place. I grew up in Toronto which has a huge Chinatown so authentic Chinese food is easy to come by. We don’t like what we call “American Chinese” food. Given the menu is extensive, you need to choose wisely. In my estimation they have authentic dishes hidden amoung the westernized ones… you just have to know what’s what. We had the “special chili beef” and it was excellent. Garlic beef rib: barely any meat/ribs. Beef hofun: some hofun was undercooked/hard to chew. Seafood tofu hotpot: this might be the only editable dish amongst what we’d ordered.
Honestly, won’t recommend. (Tried Golden Port the next day, better price and...
