We went to YUMI restaurant as we were tired of having pizza and it was by far the best diner we had in Port vila. We ordered the marinated pork + marinated beef X2 (min order 3 meats for Korean BBQ), as well as few sides + Soju. All very good and authentic (having 4 yrs experience living in Seoul). Also great atmosphere as the restaurant is very modern and super service. Only negative : the restaurant is a bit hard to find and we initially thought it was closed (it's actually on the 2nd floor of the Olympic Hotel, entry Rue Bougainville)

Based on previous reviews I was prepared to see a busy place, but it was surprisingly quiet and I know why now. Poor reception, portions very small and not made according to our order. After spending more than AU$60 for two, we had to find another restaurant for our second half of the dinner.

In fact, there are many Korean restaurants in Australia near here, but it is hard to find real korean taste as you might know. So I have never expected this high quality authentic korean food here in Vanuatu. OMG especially the Kimchi here tastes just like my mother's made. Love this place. Will visit again!

Authentic food professionally made by a Korean female chef! Fried chicken is deliciously marinated and the soup is rich in flavour, not from msg but real materials. I love the kimbap, very well made. My partner worked in Korean restaurant in Australia before and the Korean food there is no where comparable to this one. She's a wonderful chef that is organising everything! Please come and support!

Unfortunately, the husband is completely useless. He just sit at the customer seat and do nothing. He did not help with cooking nor cleaning, and he had to ask the chef about everything...feels like he's not even a...

MUST TRY IN VANUATU!!! Excellent location, great service and friendly environment! The owner was so friendly. Great food & drinks! We smashed everything we ordered - so yummy! The restuarant was clean and well maintained! Parking was also conveinent for those travelling by car (outside on the street). We had kids and there was also food for the kids as well which the kids all...
