Kim Kim Thai Food in Da Nang turned out to be a really solid lunch stop. I ordered the pork Pad Thai along with a green milk tea, and both hit the spot. The portion size was very generous, with plenty of noodles and toppings that made the dish feel hearty without being too heavy. The flavors were balanced and satisfying, and the presentation was neat and appealing. The milk tea was refreshing and paired well with the meal, adding a sweet, creamy touch that I enjoyed while relaxing at the table.

This is a very amateur operation who’s apparent lack of basic operating systems for a restaurant do nothing to inspire diners. There seems to be countless numbers of very young employees, family and others, to whom the restaurant seems to be a game and customers are a distraction. A young girl gave me a menu and then stood over me, almost touching me, impatiently waiting for my order. My table had a view into the kitchen which was off putting. I requested a spoon, a young man picked one out of a washing up bowl, rubbed it with what looked like a grubby cloth and brazenly handed it to me . The seating area is dark and uninspiring with black decor. The floor is strewn with used napkins, in spite of bins at every table. Nobody had the initiative to sweep the floor. If you pay by card you can’t have a printed receipt because their machine doesn’t print one. The food is just ok. The cheap price is, all things considered, a case of you getting what you pay for! A disappointing experience.
