Upon my arrival at the restaurant at 10:30 AM, I was relieved to discover that it was still within their breakfast hours (07:00 AM - 11:00 AM), granting me the opportunity to savour the dry version of Hu Tieu Noodles.

My bowl of dried noodles resembled a symphony of enticing tastes, thanks to the inclusion of shiitake mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, tofu skin, and vegan spring rolls. However, it was the vegan spring rolls that truly left a lasting impression. The deep-fried rolls were irresistibly hot and crispy, boasting an amazing blend of nutty taro and the natural sweetness of sweet potato.

Fortunately the appetizer saved the day. Much to my surprise, the manager took the spaghetti dish off the bill, and explained to me that they were understaffed at the moment because they’ve just recently expanded the restaurant (double occupancy). Admittedly accepted the fault and assured me that won’t happen again. For that, this is now my go-to restaurant for vegetarian foods. Awesome services deserve second chance and more. Always wanted to try this dish, Banh Hoi Thit Nuong - served usually with some grilled meats like pork or chicken with steamed rice cake or noodles (reminds me of putu from back home) plus fresh salad and fish sauce .. for this delightful vegan version, its Grilled BBQ Tofu with fresh greens and vegan fish sauce served with generous Rice Cakes.
