Group of 6. I recently visited Simsimi , and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the atmosphere initially seemed lively and energetic, it quickly became overwhelming. The noise level was incredibly loud—so much so that it was nearly impossible to hold a conversation without shouting.
On top of that, the prices were shockingly high for what was offered. Drinks were small and uninspired, and the food, while decent, did not justify the hefty price tags. For what we spent, I expected a much better experience in terms of quality and ambiance.

Read moreAfter seeing how lively this place was while driving by and seeing people dance on the tables, my buddy decided he wanted to celebrate his birthday here the next day. No sooner said than done – we arrived around 9 PM and were warmly welcomed. Since it seemed like tourists didn’t come here very often, we were greeted right away and offered one drink after another.
There wasn’t a single free table, but many of the guests invited us to join them at theirs. At midnight, my buddy was even surprised with a small fireworks display for his birthday. The drinks were tasty, and the people were incredibly friendly. I also tried frog for the first time here – it tasted like nothing.
