Fivitel Da Nang Hotel in Da Nang, Vietnam is truly a remarkable place to stay. From its excellent location to its outstanding facilities, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect.
First and foremost, the location of the hotel is excellent. Situated in a prime area, it offers easy access to various attractions and landmarks in Da Nang. Whether you want to explore the city or relax on the nearby beaches, this hotel is the perfect base. Dragon Bridge, K-Market, Highlands Coffee are at walking distance.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a spacious reception area that immediately gave me a sense of luxury and comfort. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The spaciousness of the reception area also added to the overall grandeur of the hotel.
The rooms at Fivitel Da Nang Hotel are incredibly spacious. They are tastefully decorated, well-maintained, and provide all the amenities one would expect from a high-quality hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. I truly appreciated the ample space, as it made my stay even more comfortable.
The staff at Fivitel Da Nang Hotel were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and they went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist made me feel welcome and valued as a guest.
One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing buffet breakfast at the hotel. The spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes to cater to different tastes. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find that the hotel provided a few vegetarian options upon request, specifically tailored for Indian tourists like myself. It was a thoughtful gesture that showcased the hotel's attention to detail and their commitment to ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.
The hotel's rooftop swimming pool deserves special mention. Not only does it provide a refreshing escape from the heat, but it also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding city and coastline. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time by the pool, taking in the panoramic views and relaxing in the comfortable lounge chairs.
Lastly, the garden on the top floor of the hotel was truly a hidden gem. It offered a serene and picturesque setting, perfect for photography enthusiasts. I found myself captivated by the stunning views of the city and the vibrant greenery surrounding the garden. It was a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city below.

Read moreThe outside looks old but the room condition is not brand new but decent for Da Nang unlike all the fake photos from other hotels. View is amazing. We stayed on the 20th floor almost one whole week. You cannot control the AC temperature, just on or off. Our door lock was broken, whenever we leave the room, we have to mess around with it so make sure it cannot be opened from the outside.
The problem is with the service. Imagine you're in your room sleeping with your partner with little clothing on, you have the do not disturb sign on and an employee knocks once and without giving any time for us to respond she unlocks the door with a keycard and opens the door. How freaking awkward. This happens after someone had already come one hour previously and we had already said we didn't need the room to be cleaned. You might think employee was a girl, what's the big deal? They also have male cleaning staffs and there was definitely a male staff with her as well.
This is more annoying because the same thing happened at the spa! Right after the massage service was done, while we were butt naked to change into our clothes, the masseurs left the room with the door open... We closed it. Then 10 seconds later an employee knocked once and just opened the door wide open to bring us tea. Even though she saw that we were naked, she left the door open EVEN AFTER SHE LEFT she didn't close the door. After a while we noticed the door even had a small window... Anyone could've walked by and saw us. I do not recommend the spa/massage, it was probably one of the worst massages we had gotten in Vietnam. We both felt nails digging into our skin. Our first time not leaving a tip and we always tip well.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. Teach your staff to wait for a response before opening the door rooms. It was so uncomfortable. And happened twice at your hotel while we were not wearing clothes. This is not the service level of a 4-star hotel.
Breakfast was also not great, depending on your taste. As an Asian person, I like a savory breakfast and their hot dishes were not great. Fried rice and sticky rice were so dry. Once they had steamed fish, that was good. Otherwise, meh. I mostly had plain rice porridge and sunny side up omelet with bread. They have a lot of fruits if that's your kind of breakfast.
Nice hotel. We really liked our stay the first few days. So we didn't complain about the fire sprinkler dripping once every few minutes. And we didn't say anything about the broken lock thinking it wasn't going to be a problem... Would we stay here again,...
Read moreOne of the best hotels we've stayed at in terms of service and staff. The moment we arrived a young man took our bags inside and got us a iced tea. We were tired from travel so very grateful.
The lady on the front desk had perfect English and could answer and help with no delay at all. We were given a voucher for discount on a massage which was nice and came with am amazing yoghurt & crackers snack after (we went out and bought the same crackers later 😋)
Room was perfectly clean and bed was comfy and I took an accidental nap as soon as I lay down.
Finally the food was great quality. We have missed eating healthy as sometimes salads can be a bit bland but I was addicted here. Colourful and varied with delicious options like goose. We had smoothies a few times which again were great quality and tasted very fresh. The other western style food was great and although we have been eating more local food on our travel, here we kept trying the different western options as they were cooked so well. The staff on the top floor are kind and attentive and the food is sent up from the restaurant even to the rooftop garden so you can eat with a view.
Breakfast was perfect. Lots of fresh and tasty fruit, puddings, cakes and a big choice of warm food like sticky rice, broth, meat choices, egg and sausage. We stayed 3 nights and there were a few changes on what was to offer each day so we could try new things. Breakfast was one of the highlights for us!
Oh, forgot to say the pool was lovely 😊 and big enough to do laps in when you realize you're allowed to go under the rope to the deeper part
Outside workers were finishing the huge pavement/walkway so future guests can walk right up to the dragon bridge safely and past a huge choice of restaurants and shops. We neglected the local restaurants because hotel staff and food was just too nice but there are plenty nearby.
Finally I only had a couple of drinks as I don't drink much but the spirits were of great quality in the bar. Sometimes Vietnamese spirits can taste a bit overpowering like a vodka or something but here I could taste that it was rum and enjoyed it very much.
Can't believe how reasonable it was to stay here. We are very happy and wish we can can back.
I only hope that they fix the balcony door. One of our neighbours smoked and once or twice we could smell smoke as it passed the small gaps in the balcony door. We're ex smokers so prefer not to be able to smell it but it didn't stick around and the rooms smelled fresh and not like...
