BL: There are plenty of other buffets in Da Nang to go to; don’t waste your money or time here. Looks good from the outside, but terrible customer service. We brought in a large group of 15 adults and three children. The restaurant staff placed us on a table with seating for 12 people and told us to cram together. It had two grills. The seating was cushions on the floor…Japanese style. We asked for another table (there was no one else on our floor) and they said no. Service said we should sit closer together which meant elbow to elbow and no table space to put anything. We had to argue for 30 minutes to get another table for four adults. Service is also slow….ordered food through the fancy QR system and waited 20-30 for RAW meat to arrive so we could actually grill at the table. It’s labeled a buffet but is it really a buffet when food is served intentionally slow and limit the number of grills to actually cook things?
The exception of the slow service when we asked for the bill and it magically came in minutes. We will not return and I won’t recommend this place to anyone who values their time. One redeeming factor is the food is actually quality but this can be done across many restaurants in Da Nang nowadays so nothing...
Read moreWhen choosing affordable Japanese cuisine, Yenkaniku is always one of my go-to places that never fails to satisfy me in terms of both food quality and ambiance.
This time, my family and I chose the 399k buffet package, and we were honestly surprised at how many different dishes we could order at this price point. If you're a fan of sushi, gunkan, sashimi, fried items, or Japanese rice dishes, this package covers them all and the quality is absolutely great for the price.
The highlight for me is definitely the salmon sashimi , it’s super fresh and something I always reorder multiple times whenever I dine here.
However, I suggest that the restaurant invest in a tablet ordering system so that guests can place orders directly from the table to the kitchen. This would help optimize service time during peak hours and improve the overall guest experience, similar to what many modern buffet restaurants are already doing. It’s convenient for both customers and staff.
Overall, it was a tasty, varied, and wallet-friendly meal highly recommended if you're looking to enjoy quality Japanese food without overspending. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreOne year ago Yakiniku provided good quality of the food but this year we have been there twice and last week it was horrible. The we have paid 329.000vnd buffet (drinks and VAT is not included) and: The meat (beef) was old and chewy, we did not manage to chew till the end a single slice. Sad. Sushimi - they have replaced octopus to cheap tuna (without mentioning it!!!) the amount of salmon and salty fish with the caviar became 50% less than declared in the menu. Sad... Fried rice was oily. The service is also "nice", you order 2/3 plates of sashimi, they serve you one. And start to ignore you!!! Literally the kitchen doesn't make itnfor you (that's how your time is expiring. You can eat there for 2 hours) they happily offer you rice and nuddles, but not WHAT we actually want according to...
