I was skeptical at first because this used to be owned by a state company, and usually the food is ok-ish and the service is horrible. When we arrived the third floor was having a party with karaoke and we didn’t want to come in. But we entered the first floor and it was not so bad. Long story short, the food was a pleasant surprise, good and reasonably priced. Service was ok, could have done better. But they have many specialty dishes from Ben Tre made with coconuts: coconut rice, coconut spring rolls, coconut shrimps. I would also recommend the special wild mushroom wrapped pork (ask for “nấm mối nướng”), and mustard green leaves wrapped fish (ask for “chả cá cuốn cải bẹ xanh hấp”). Nice setting. But unfortunately they cheated on the weight of the seafood we ordered! Dishonesty is never palatable!

We went for a late lunch - around 4pm yesterday. Food is good and reasonably priced. But be careful if you order any speciality seafood that they charge by the kg because we got overcharged - we ordered the grilled calamari (muc ong). One little grilled calamari came - it was max 250g (I’m a chef and I’ve bought and cooked calamari myself countless times, I know how many in a kg!), and they charged us for 1/2 kg, it ended up very expensive. We ate very well and and the staff is super friendly! The restaurant sits right on the river. We had some pork fried in a coconut batter, some crab fried spring rolls, stir fry beef and bread, chicken (that was really tasty!) And Morning Glory. And, my son had rat.
