Very disappointed with this place. Maybe they were busy, maybe it was an off day. We were excited to go because they were one of the only places open during Tet holiday and they had good reviews. When we arrived, the place was full which is normally a good sign. Luckily, we were able to get a table as someone was leaving. When we walked in, the lady at the counter was busy with another customer, so she wasn't able to greet us, but eventually she indicated that we needed to order and pay at the counter. After we sat down and looked at the menu, we had both originally decided to get the "Real Breakfast" which costs 175k and comes with eggs, bacon, ham, waffles, toast, and a hash brown. I felt it was a bit expensive, but it sounded like it could be good value based on what you get. I went up to the counter to order and asked for two real breakfasts, one with scrambled eggs... I couldn't even finish my sentence before the lady told me that they only do eggs two ways: overeasy and sunny side up. Immediately I found that strange. If you're serving breakfast and charging people 175k for it, why wouldn't you allow your customers to have eggs the way they want? Additionally, it didn't say anything about it on the menu. So, I just order led waffles for myself instead of the real breakfast and ordered one real breakfast with sunny side up eggs. We then ordered coffee: one Americano and one espresso. The lady said her espresso machine was broken, so they couldn't make me an espresso, they had to make it another way. I was confused though because how can you make an Americano without an espresso machine?
When we got our food, my waffles came out first. I had ordered banana and chocolate waffles. When I got it, there were a few surprises. There were pumpkin seeds, cashews, and matcha ice cream. For me, it was nice but I think they should put it on the menu in case someone is allergic to nuts or doesn't like matcha ice cream. The real breakfast was real disappointing. The ham was very thin, there was one piece of bacon, and stale wheat toast. Our coffees also came out colder than we expected.
All in all, our experience was a huge...
Read moreOverall, this place is a solid choice if you're looking for an escape, especially with its amazing ambiance. But I will break it down:
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Needs a little more oomph!) Western food offerings here are, well, a bit of a mixed bag for our asian taste buds. The flavors tend to be on the blander side and sometimes a tad too salty. There are spaces for improvement here.
Value for Money: ⭐️⭐️ (Pay for the peace, not just the plate!) Honestly, for the price, there more tastier food out there. But if you're willing to pay a little extra for that serene atmosphere and a hot cup of coffee, then this place is worth it. You're basically paying for the peace and quiet, and that's priceless for some. For me I need the balance. Haha.
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Friendly faces, mostly!) The service is generally good and the staff are super kind. But there is something that I can't explain, maybe the connection.
Place: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (The real star of the show!) Hands down, this is the main selling point! Imagine: a view that melts your stress away, surrounded by the most beautiful plants. The ambiance here is absolutely top-tier, perfect for unwinding.
Facilities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There is a small indoor tables where you can dine-in divided by plants and bookshelves. The place creates a green oasis feel with wooden furnitures that looks like it came from our province but are combined strategically to deliver this quality theme.
The Verdict: This cafe might be a bigger hit for Western palates, or for those who appreciate a more "raw" and salty flavor profile. But regardless, it's definitely a go-to spot if you want to chill, recharge, have some me-time, or enjoy quality moments with your loved ones. Basically, it's where you go when you need a little...
Read moreThis place has very good potential but fell short of a perfect experience. The atmosphere is beautiful with panoramic views. The menu has a great variety of fresh juices, smoothies, coffee and meals which are nicely presented. HOWEVER, when I asked my Server if they could make my juice order into a smoothie, she said "its Impossible". I could not believe what I heard. How difficult is it to add ice to fresh juice and put everything in the blender which they already have to make smoothies? As a result, my juice was served slightly warm, without offering ice and this makes it "Impossible" for me to give 5 stars, Impossible to recommend this place and Impossible for me to return to the restaurant even though it would be simple to do so. The fruit , yogurt and granola bowl was reasonably good but should have been served with a small amount of honey on the side. The egg breakfasts are served only one way which is fried, sunny side up. Come for the view and hope the service...
