I visited 1 year ago and did put 5 stars. However the restaurant has lost a lot of atmosphere with the new location.
The space before was cute, unique and intimate. Lost in the pine trees, with wood and candles. Now it’s simply a big space with super bright lights and no intimacy. Don’t go there for a romantic dinner.
Also in the previous space we had way much care from the chef, dialogue about the dish and interesting presentations.
Regarding the quality of the food, I had expectations as I took the same dish as a year prior. Chicken with the cabbage. Even if it’s still good, and the choice of associations are interesting I found it unbalanced! Way too much garlic so not super easy to digest and the dish was way to sweet with the sauce. Also the chicken add a lot of cartilage.
The staff is super sweet and caring, they gave me a good experience and were the good part of it!
I will keep a good memory of the old chill chill eatery but will not come back to...
Read moreWe stayed in Dalat for 5 days and ate here for dinner twice. What can I say, it’s a splurge in Vietnamese terms but totally worth it. Being that we are here twice we tried most things on the menu. The menu does change seasonally based on what’s available. I would say go with an open mind and try what the chef recommends.
Both the bar staff and the chef have a true passion for food and cocktails. They are creative and well balanced. A true culinary experience.
We were somewhat underwhelmed with the city of Dalat and this is a nice change with beautiful views in the forest overlooking a nice canyon.
Perfect night out if you walk 3 minutes down the hill to the Sin cocktail bar for a night cap.
Truly fabulous experience, great food and great people. You won’t be disappointed.
Must try...

The food was okay, but the portion sizes are quite mean. Their beef was incredibly soft, yet the crab spaghetti was like a soup - the sauce was too thin.
I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where they don't offer beer. You couldn't even buy a spirit and mixer. It was cocktails only, which I don't really want with a heavy pasta meal.
The pasta doesn't appear to be homemade, and although they don't state either way, I'd expect it to be fresh for the price you're being charged.
The décor is nice and the garden is gorgeous. However the male toilets were inexcusably dirty. There were rat droppings all over the urinal and it was an all-round...
