Moto Laurie Cafe & Bistro — Restaurant in Da Lat City

September 2025 Tonight I tried one of the September's Specials and it was simple and delicious!! Roasted beetroot on a bed of baba ganoush with fresh pita bread. It was hard to choose as the other specials looked great as well but I rarely see beetroot on any menu, so beetroot it was.

May 2025 Its been more than a year since my last post about Moto Laurie....l keep coming back and I keep leaving pleased with my meal. I always look forward to what yummy creations will be on the monthly specials and they never disappoint.

May Day 2024 Two big thumbs up for the Moto Laurie Big Breakfast!!

January 18, 2024....Consistency seems to be the key with Moto Laurie. The meals are prepared to a very high standard across the menu. I leave every time thoroughly satisfied and looking forward to my next visit.Staff is terrific!! That just about says it all!!

November 11: This has become my 'Go To' dinner outing and between the Monthly Specials and their regular fare, I have been thoroughly satisfied. The pasta dishes are particularly scrumptious! But other meals are delicious as well. Craft beer on tap!!! The service is friendly and attentive. If you're lucky enough to come on an evening when they've got a fire going, it just adds to the overall experience. Closed on Mondays

I've been here several times for both breakfast and dinner. I've enjoyed the dinners especially as the pastas are very good as well as the pizza. Craft beer on tap is a big plus.

Update for 2nd visit: I don't think I'll come back, the service here is kinda weird. I don't know if the waitress was being super-way-too casually friendly or rude... but she scared the bejesus out of my father in law. Basically he ordered st sound good in the menu but she's like "you don't what that, order st else" and then he was surprised but explained"it's chef's special written in here and I like how it sound" then she explained st like "that's like for Vietnamese cus some Vietnamese can't eat western food...bla bla" i mean 😢 idk, kinda aggressive. If you're have a tough personality you probably won't notice it but... I do so. I would give the food 5 stars. Best pizza, salad and pumpkin soup I've had in Dalat for sure. The price is reasonable, although I expect a bit better service. Like just little things (no table matt, no cloth napkin, no salt and pepper,...). My waitress was nice and kind. However I can sense that she was worry about my order and stood right next to me all the time while I was looking at the menu, which make me feel kinda anxious and uncomfortable... the restaurant have quite of a big menu, maybe you should give customer a few minutes to look at it all by themselves 😄

The pizza crust was interesting, they put lots of oil on it, so it turned out very crunchy. Which I like. But as it cool down it got harder and harder. Which gives me mixed feelings about this whole idea 😳 still taste good thou.

My pizza plate was wooden. And it doesn't look good, has black spots on it which I really hope not mold 😳

I will come back and hopefully be able to give the restaurant the 5...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful restaurant where I enjoyed both breakfast and two dinners.

The food was exceptionally delicious, and the service was top-notch🤩 However, I feel it's important to mention a small issue we encountered with one of the dishes. We ordered mashed potatoes expecting a standard portion (200 gr), but received what seemed to be about 50 grams—essentially just one spoonful. Upon inquiry, we learned that the dehydration process during cooking caused significant evaporation of moisture from the potatoes, reducing the portion size significantly. We decided to return the dish, and the hostess graciously removed it from our order without any hassle. She was very polite and handled the situation impeccably🥰

Despite this minor hiccup, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant👌🏻 The quality of both the food and service is fantastic, making for a delightful dining experience.

Just a small note for future diners: you might want to double-check the portion size on the mashed potatoes, and perhaps the kitchen could adjust their preparation method to account for the dehydration effect🙏🏼
