Unfortunaltely we were very disappointed by the restaurant. When we arrived after half an hour walk to get there the door was open but we couldnt see any host. Fortunately he came after we called via phone. We asked for fresh spring rolls (we saw some in the pictures of other reviews) but the host told us that it's not possible. So we decided to take the fried spring rolls (we already ate very good homemade ones before in Vietnam) and some steamed and fried dumplings. He showed us the food (it was all not homemade, it was frozen food like you can buy in a supermarket). Since we were super hungry and we also once prepared frozen dumplings by ourselfs before and liked it, we ordered it. He prepared the dumplings in the microwave and the other dumplings and the spring rolls in the deep fryer. Unfortunaltely the taste was really bad (dry, sticky, no fresh flavour). When he realized that we didnt finish the food we told him that we didnt like it. He felt sorry for it and didnt charge us for the dumplings. I think that was very fair.

The restaurant itself was empty on arrival (as well as the alley, besides a few locals), and a neighbour went to get the restaurant owner. After ordering, we saw the owner go to the freezers and get out the food we had ordered from store-bought packages. We decided not to proceed with the dinner after this and promptly left the restaurant. It’s a fantastic idea to have a vegetarian restaurant, but we travelled to Vietnam to eat fresh, Vietnamese food rather than frozen, store-bought food. I hope the owner can read this review as constructive feedback, and improve the...

But we saw half of the dishes being cooked in a microwave. Even rice was not fresh and reheated in a microwave. At least rice could have been cooked fresh. The place itself has a local vibe but the food quality for the price is below average. Also the bowls were not very clean so I would not recommend the place...
