Il Divo Beer Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Went there as part of a large party (mixed foreigners & Vietnamese) and used the big room upstairs. The delicious food came out hot and everything was really tasty & fresh. Salads, fried chicken, calamari, morning glory, a couple of meat & veg dishes, and their tofu tu xuyen (pictured) were all wonderful!

We drank some beers and some apricot rice wine (a good one). Unfortunately the main server had a hard time keeping track of orders even though all the food was ordered and paid for ahead of time, and we were paying for the drinks as we ordered. They got orders wrong, forgot to bring a couple drinks, and then argued with us about it. Drinks are cheap of course, but it was a bit disappointing to have that negative interaction with them.

As for atmosphere, sit downstairs for more fun - it's a nicely decorated place with TVs for sports...

Lần đầu gọi lẩu ếch và vài món ngoài (gà rang muối, ngô chiên và khoai chiên). Đồ ăn rất vừa miệng và thơm ngon. Hơn nữa, đây là một trong số hiếm những quán ăn có thể chiều được cái bụng cực yếu của mình (khi ăn một chút đồ không sạch là có thể bị tiêu chảy)

Lần thứ 2 là hôm nay luôn. Mọi người trong bàn mình gọi một mẹt ngỗng 7 món hay 9 món gì đó không nhớ, cộng thêm một nồi lẩu tôm sông. Nước lẩu và đồ ăn kèm đều rất ngon và ngọt. Đậu phụ thơm cùng viên tôm thả lẩu mềm, có vị tôm rất đặc trưng (và cũng rất tươi). Không biết viên này là quán mua ngoài hay tự làm vì ít nhất mình chưa tìm được loại viên nào thơm ngon như vậy. Còn về món ngỗng thì cá nhân mình có lẽ là không thích ngỗng vịt ngan nên cảm giác thịt hơi bị hôi, và mình cũng ăn không hết nổi 1 miếng, nhưng người nhà mình lại khen tấm tắc nên cũng không biết đánh giá như thế nào...

Prices were great, food was mediocre, restaurant needed to be cleaned and repaired. Totally understand that a beer garden is not 5-star dining but seeing food being prepared on a dirty floor outside the kitchen didn’t make me want to eat at this...
