This is my second time visiting Quan Nem. The first time was at the Ho Chi Minh City location, and I had a pleasant experience, which is why I added this restaurant to my must-try list. I still prefer the Ho Chi Minh location, though. While I found the bun cha sauce a little too sweet for my liking, the grilled pork was as scrumptious as ever. The nem cua bien, crab spring roll, is exceedingly crispy and crunchy, bursting with fresh crab filling in every bite. This restaurant provide quite a unique way to have bún chả where you can have the grilled pork kept warm by a charcoal stove on your table; but that cannot cover the quality of the meat which is quite poor to my standard - a bit dry and unflavorful. But the superstar is the "nem cua be" (squared spring roll with crab). It is tasty and generous with crab. The service is good. The price is a high compared to the food quality. The restaurant is clean and the staff was nice to me. But the food wasnt tasty. The broth was really bad, too acidic and its taste was just off. All the meat wasn't grilled until charred for flavor, and it wasnt well seasoned or marinated either. Generous portion of fresh herbs tho. Wouldnt recommend to eat here.
