Era Apartment Càt Linh — Hotel in Hà Nội

I had experienced 3 nights stayed. The price is reasonable, The room is a bit small The location is ok, it's right under the train station. The service is very terrible... the security guy sounds like the boss, the way he looks at customers like looks at a criminal. Very very impolite. The room service staff sounds like a boss as well. I asked to do service for my room on my third day stayed but I had been refused to change the mattress cover as she said they only changed it after 1 week if I continue stay. On my 4th day, I asked to change the mattress cover and the pillow case as it has stains. She brought them to me and asked me to change it myself.... I was surprised as first time experienced that type of rooms service... I took off the matress cover and found 3 more layers of matress cover underneat was so dirty, After that, the security guy (boss) came and asked me to check out and said my room was sold. Sound like they want to increase the price but didn't dare to say. I was checked at Agoda, they still have room available with a couple $ increasing. I planned to stay for a week but didn't feel comfortable to continue.... I hope they can improve the service which would bring more value to their business....

The rooms were good for the price. Stayed in two separate units for a few days.

However the manager, a former policeman, was extremely rude and disrespectful.

He treated paying guests like dirt, allowed himself to act like a bored government official who doesn't really care about the purpose of his work, even hardly looked at me and ignored every single question until I asked four times. Huge sense of entitlement without any clear reason. The manager also spoke and understood virtually no English so when he did answer, it had to be translated via mobile app, including the most crucial information. He lacked even the basic decency to answer to my "hello" and "thank you" (in Vietnamese) during every interaction. Definitely not a qualified person for the job and a behaviour far below...

The worst stay ever, the rooms are not like in the pictures at all, the service is very poor, I had to wait 2 hours before i got my check in, the reception is always empty so dont expect to find someone to handle your issues, due to the delay, They propose a discount that i never got, they even suggested to enter my room while i was away to move my belongings to another room , another person came to my room at 1:00am asking for payment that i had already sorted out with another person, i do not recommend this...
