Vinace Italian Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Hạ Long City

I know nothing about the food. How could I, when nobody bothered to help us when we arrived?

The place was wide open, and yet nobody was there. Not in customer area, not in kitchen.

We called to ask them if they’re open, and they answered yes they’re open. I asked if they could come to help us but many minutes later, nobody.

Also, the place really doesn’t look inviting, nor does the food look appetizing based on the photos. I could be totally wrong and the food might be amazing, but based on the century-old photos, doesn’t seem to be the case.

Anyway, I wish them well. Not sure what happened and why they couldn’t bother to assist us but, despite us seeing good reviews and planning for days to come to this restaurant, we left looking for a restaurant that...

We recently tried the Big Breakfast at Vinace Pizza, and it was a fantastic start to the day. The portion size was generous, definitely living up to its name. Everything was cooked just right—the eggs were perfectly done, the bacon crispy, and the toast nicely buttered. We especially loved the sausages and the hearty serving of mushrooms and grilled tomatoes, which added great flavor and balance.

The atmosphere at Vinace was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff and quick service. Although it's known for pizza, their breakfast menu really impressed us. It's a great spot if you're looking for a satisfying and well-priced breakfast in a relaxed setting.

Great value for money with prompt English speaking service. The Vietnamese owner spent several years in New Zealand honing his trade. We had the peperoni pizza, which was very tasty and, despite its large size, was rapidly devoured by my 16 year old son, which speaks for itself and warranted a 2 thumbs up from him. I tried the meat lasagna and was not disappointed in this home cooked Vietnamese version of the dish, which was also promptly finished off. Beware the grab map location for Vinace and check with Google maps. It is difficult to create a homely Italian atmosphere on the strip in the centre of Halong Bay, but we are here for Vietnam, not Italy, and the food was well...
