I recently had the most incredible experience at a restaurant and cooking school in Hoi An, Vietnam, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant served some of the most delicious Vietnamese dishes I’ve ever tasted—each bite was bursting with fresh, authentic flavors. The ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the presentation was beautiful.
The cooking class was an absolute highlight of my trip! The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing their culinary expertise. They guided us through the process of creating traditional Vietnamese dishes, from selecting fresh ingredients at the local market to mastering the art of balancing flavors. It was such a fun and hands-on experience, and I left feeling confident to recreate these dishes at home.
What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine care the staff showed to ensure everyone had a memorable experience. Whether you're a food lover, a seasoned cook, or a beginner, this place is a must-visit in Hoi An. I can’t wait to return and try more of their amazing food and classes! Thank you for an...
Read moreWe stopped there to escape the island's loud music and craziness... We couldn't be luckier!! Calming place, amazingly good local food and even better service.
Thuy, the chef and waitress, was super nice, kind and helpful. She took the time to answer kindly every single question that these two curious travelers had.
After that small relaxing break we decided to avoid tourist crowds from them on. And completely change our itinerary from coastal cities to the inlands. Thuy support was invaluable there. Thanks to her we were able to catch a night bus ride the very same day. Otherwise it would be completely impossible.
During the whole conversation she wasn't invasive at all and didn't insist that we order anything (we just had one beer and a couple of very tasty juices during the talk). This attitude made us feel so comfortable after the intensity of the city's vendors that we opted to order some food for lunch there.
And it was the best meal we tried in Hoi An!!! The Cao Lao and baby clams were spectacular!
Thuy was a glorious chef, amazing person and heartwarming host.
We feel obligated to write this review to show our appreciation for her dedication and...
Read moreI never imagined the boat ride in Coconut Village would be this much fun! Huge shoutout and double hands up to all the amazing boat staff — they didn’t just steer the boat, they entertained! From karaoke performances to their iconic swirling boat ride, they made the entire journey lively and unforgettable. (Fair warning: you might feel a little dizzy afterward, but it's totally worth it!) The whole experience was a solid 10/10. Next time I visit, I’m definitely trying the cooking class! Special thanks to our tour guide, Thuy, who gave us an insightful glimpse into the history of the Coconut Village and introduced us to the local Hoi An dish called Cao Lau — it instantly became one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes. A must-try, I swear! My family and I are beyond grateful. We’ll...
