It’s not quite as traditional as the batter from the traditional ones are partially fried with a soft centre with coconut milk and sometimes mung beans but this one is thinner and fully submerged when deep fried, but the batter is light. It works well with the seafood and lightly sprinkled seasoning. I think the flavors work really well.
That said, I’m also craving the more traditional one too..

You can get green onions if you want and they come dusted with powdered shrimp. The veggies were fresh but we had to ask for more leaves for wrapping.
