LIB. Hidden Bar — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Location: my advice is should go from Le Van Sy street then turn into alley 453 and go straight for a few hundred meters and Lib. is located on the left side. Very simple to find. Although the address is 443 but it will be difficult to enter from the direction of Truong Sa street.

Space: it's newly opened so empty a bit, it will be an advantage for those who like quiet and coziness. Upstairs space for couples. The bar seating area is great, i can lean back very comfortably, which is a big plus for me because im very afraid of the uncomfortable bar stools in other bars/pubs. There are 2 sofa tables for groups of 5-6 people. Parking motorbike by the side of pub.

Drinks & snacks: these are the ones i tried on the signature menu, the price in my opinion is a bit high (from 200,000VND/drink, excluding VAT and service charge): "Đây thôn Vĩ Dạ": especially because it has the essence of vegetarian fish sauce so it will have a slightly salty taste but the smell is not unpleasant. Highly recommended. "Vợ chồng A Phủ": feels like enjoying Thailand tomyum because of the smell of Thai lemon leaves and lemongrass. Especially because decorated with 1 shrimp that has been soaked in tequila. I was shocked when tasted the shrimp haha. MUST TRY. "Cánh đồng bất tận": look a lot like a Vietnamese drink "đá me" haha. It has coconut and chocolate inside, taste is moderately light so it's suitable to start. "Kiều": introduced as the strongest and enthusiastically invited by the owner to try. Decorated with sweet lotus seed jam (feeling of Tet is coming haha). However, this drink is nothing special and not good for me both in taste and decoration so i didn't take photo. Fried chips and sausages: not special but OK to try. There're also a few other snacks.

Staffs: the pub owner and his wife are also the main bartenders, and there is another staff guy, they were cheerful and enthusiastically invited me to try a few good alcohol shots. Especially the four legged - hairy - chubby - super friendly staff that you should visit in...

It’s hard to find the location but y’all will luv this place. It has public bar with chill music if u go 1-2 people. Besides, it also has the private room for group of friends. Decoration and services, drinks menu are completely perfect. Highly recommend !!! Will come back...
