Pizza 4P's at Aeon Mall Tan Phu in Ho Chi Minh City offers a unique and generally enjoyable dining experience, justifying its solid 4 out of 5-star rating. It's a place that manages to blend the familiar comfort of pizza with a touch of Japanese culinary philosophy, creating a fusion that's both intriguing and satisfying. The ambiance is a significant part of the allure. The restaurant boasts a modern, minimalist design with warm lighting and a visible open kitchen, fostering a sense of transparency and culinary theatre. The wood-fired oven, prominently displayed, adds a rustic charm and a delightful aroma that permeates the space. The staff are attentive and friendly, embodying the polite and efficient service that's become a hallmark of many establishments in Vietnam. They are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations, which is particularly helpful for first-time visitors overwhelmed by the diverse offerings.
The pizza itself is where the fusion element shines. The crust, thin and crispy with a slightly chewy edge, is a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the pizzaiolos. The toppings, while featuring classic Italian combinations, often incorporate Japanese influences, resulting in unexpected but delicious flavor profiles. For example, the signature "Burrata Parma Ham" pizza is a crowd-pleaser, showcasing creamy burrata cheese and salty Parma ham, but it's the subtle addition of Japanese herbs or seasonings that elevates it beyond a standard Italian fare. The cheese, in general, is of exceptional quality, a point that Pizza 4P's emphasizes, often sourcing it from their own dairy farms or trusted local suppliers. This commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every bite.
However, beyond the pizzas, the menu offers a variety of other dishes that are equally commendable. The pasta dishes are well-executed, with homemade noodles and flavorful sauces. The appetizers, like the fresh salads and grilled vegetables, are light and refreshing, providing a welcome contrast to the richness of the pizzas. The drinks menu is also thoughtfully curated, featuring a selection of craft beers, wines, and creative cocktails.
And then there's the fruit salad. It might seem like an odd choice for a pizza restaurant, but it's the standout dish for me, and the reason I consistently return. It's not your typical fruit salad; it's a carefully composed medley of seasonal fruits, each chosen for its ripeness and flavor. The presentation is impeccable, with the fruits arranged artfully on the plate, showcasing a spectrum of colors and textures. The dressing, a light and refreshing vinaigrette with a hint of citrus, complements the sweetness of the fruits without overpowering them. The quality of the fruit is paramount, and it's clear that Pizza 4P's sources the best available, resulting in a salad that's bursting with natural sweetness and freshness. It’s a perfect palate cleanser after a rich pizza, and a light, healthy option for those seeking something different.
While the overall experience is positive, there are a few minor drawbacks. The prices are relatively high compared to other pizza restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City, which may deter budget-conscious diners. The restaurant can also get quite crowded during peak hours, leading to longer wait times and a slightly noisy atmosphere. Additionally, while the fusion concept is generally successful, some of the more experimental flavor combinations may not appeal to everyone. Some might find certain ingredient combinations too unusual or not in line with traditional pizza...

As always, the food lived up to its well-earned fame. The pizza was scrumptious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a delightful crust that left us wanting more. Each bite was a reminder of why this restaurant has garnered such popularity among pizza lovers.
While the food was exceptional, we did encounter a slight hiccup with the staff. Compared to other branches we've visited, the service here seemed a bit less polished. There were a few mistakes made with our food order, which was a tad disappointing. However, what truly stood out was the attitude of the staff.
Despite the errors, the staff members were incredibly friendly, attentive, and apologetic for any inconvenience caused. They took immediate action to rectify the situation and went above and beyond by offering us complimentary yogurt as a dessert. Their kind gestures and willingness to make amends truly impressed us, showcasing their dedication to customer satisfaction.
In addition to their warm hospitality, this particular location introduced a remarkable addition to their team – a waiter robot. We were pleasantly surprised by this innovative touch, as the robot efficiently navigated the restaurant, delivering orders with precision and adding a fun element to our dining experience. It was a delightful blend of tradition and modernity.
Visiting this restaurant is always a pleasure, and despite the minor service hiccup, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The delectable pizza, coupled with the sincere and friendly attitude of the staff, made our visit memorable. The introduction of the waiter robot was an exciting bonus, adding a touch of novelty to the dining ambiance.
If you're in the mood for some outstanding pizza and appreciate a restaurant that constantly strives for innovation, this place is a must-visit. Indulge in their delicious offerings, relish the friendly atmosphere, and witness the charm of the waiter robot. It's an experience that combines culinary delight with a dash of modern marvel.

Read moreWas a quiet day. We had a great time having lunch. Waitress Linh was very helpful and mindful of our plates and cutlery. The dishes were good and easy to eat. Even my parents liked the pizzas and spaghetti. We ordered arrabbiata, crab spaghetti, okonomiyaki pizza, a half salmon miso cream half spicy beef kebab and a fruit salad. To start the meal, we got some ice cream as we thought it would take some time for the kitchen to prepare the dishes yet it didn’t take long until the salad and other dishes came. The salad was easy to eat with hints of sourness and sweetness from a variety of fruits. The arrabbiata was enjoyably spicy and flavorful (I recommend choosing less spicy so that the spiciness won’t overpower the guanciale). The crab pasta were good. I could tell that the crab was high quality. However I would choose the arrabbiata over the crab one for the latter was less flavorful. The okonomiyaki pizza was the star of the show. Everyone at the table was complimenting the sweetness of the sauce and the warmth that the pickled ginger gives. The salmon side of the pizza was medium. I would recommend adding honey. The beef kebab; however, would give off a strong smell and taste similarly with curry. It can be hard to eat but it got an okay from me. To end the meal, we ordered a tiramisu which lived up to the hype when it was sweet, not too bitter and creamy. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and heart-warming. Would visit this...
