After several visits to Boma Beach Club for breakfast, my family was absolutely delighted with a recent change in their guest policy, which has inspired me to write this review.
For non-resort guests who wish to enjoy breakfast and coffee at the Beach Club, there is now a mandatory fee of 250,000 VND per adult and 150,000 VND for children (ages 6-12), payable at the reception. This fee is then deducted from your total bill, so you only pay any additional costs.
We found this fee to be very reasonable, as it almost covers the cost of a typical meal and drink, meaning we rarely had to pay much extra. A great bonus is that the fee also grants access to all facilities, including the kids' play area, the swimming pool, and the clean changing and shower rooms.
Thanks to this new policy, the breakfast and coffee area is no longer overcrowded. The space feels more private, spacious, and comfortable. We also noticed a significant improvement in the service, with the staff being more attentive and efficient than ever before. With these wonderful changes, Boma Resort's Beach Club restaurant is now the perfect quiet retreat for families and couples alike, offering an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing breakfast with panoramic views of beautiful...
Read moreThis is a newly rebuilt resort and has a lot of wonderful architectural and landscape features about it. Built along the waterfront, it boasts stunning views to the south. The bedrooms are very nice. The bed is very comfortable with plenty of pillow options at your disposal. The bathroom is huge. Absolutely cavernous! The food was lovely, although a word of warning if you're a vegetarian or vegan, as there are very limited options. Probably the only real disappointment was that some of the administrative staff at the front desk seemed a little disinterested at times. On two occasions, we approached them to ask some questions, and they seemed more interested in chatting to their online friends using the staff computers or their mobile phones than serving/attending to us. This might be a generational thing (very young staff)? The rest of the staff and team at Boma seemed very focused and attentive though. On the whole, this was still a very nice resort to...
Read moreWe chose Boma as the day pass fee goes towards F&B. We arrived early bybtrain so needed to kill some time with the kids before we could check intonour apparemment. After 3 weeks of travelling in Vietnam eating street food from tiny little vendors the food at Boma is the 1st time I ate something I thought would make me sick. The beef burger was horrendous and the spring rolls terrible. Warm beers to top it off. Service is slow but polite. No real atmosphere and mostly just the usual photo shoot crew getting in the way of the view. The pool is...
