Minh Thuy Bar- Restaurant — Restaurant in Ninh Bình Province

NOT FOR VEGANS. We came to this restaurant several time for pumpkin soup which was nice. The reason I'm giving one is the customer service and the attitude of the girl managing the restaurant. We ordered tofu in tomato sauce from the VEGAN menu. The tofu came soaked in goat oil. They probably used the same oil they used for frying animals. When we politely mentioned that, instead of accepting and changing it, she argued that no we used fresh oil. The dish stank of goat. And what was really disappointing was that after being their customer for so long they still charged us for the food we didn't touch (I only had rice on it's own) . I believe she either needs to improve her English or understand more about Vegans and people who don't want to have animal in their plate. Next door to the restaurant is a slaughter house too. If you care about animals you should know that you might see lots of blood and dead goat on the road.

The cafe was wonderful, and Minh provided exceptional service throughout our visit. He was incredibly helpful and attentive. When I needed a bike to explore the area, they arranged one for me. We requested fresh coconut water, and they served it right away. I also needed mosquito repellent, and Minh was quick to hop on his bike and get a new one for us.

When it came time to travel to Hanoi airport, Minh once again assisted us with arranging a car. Moon Cafe truly became our go-to spot for everything we needed. What made it even better was their constant smiles and willingness to help.

The food was amazing and had so many options, but honestly we kept coming back because of how kind and friendly the staff were! They have vegetarian options and all kinds of local and western food available. Their English is excellent and super friendly to our group. They let us connect our music to the speakers and we had so much fun we returned a 2nd time!
