Chanced upon this listing on Google Maps and we are so glad we decided to visit. Apparently they’ve only opened for 7 weeks - but the great reviews they have so far don’t lie! Location, as others have mentioned, is not accurate - but just drive in all the way past Lotus Restaurant and you’ll find it easily. Don’t worry about the narrow road- there is a parking space at the end. Driving is recommended as it will be a long walk in.
It was easy to make a booking via WhatsApp, and when we arrived they had set up a lovely table at the garden for our group of 7. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful - and it was pretty much just our group present in the area, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Apparently it’s mostly locals who know it so far, so if you come on a weekday, you’ll likely experience the peace and quiet we were so lucky to have.
Food is great and decently priced. I highly recommend the snail stew, sour/spicy goat meat, and fried fish- all were super yummy.
Service is 10/10, staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. There are some staff that speak English well, so it was easy to communicate.
This place definitely deserves more recognition, and I’m sure it’ll blow up soon and become more crowded; so be sure to visit and enjoy a meal asap! If you only visit 1 restaurant in Tam Coc- make...
Read moreWe went here after having read the reviews. Unfortunately, we're much less positive. We booked the large 6-person bungalow, which was completely without any windows. That was the first disappointment. The view was only from the common areas. Then it turned out you can't walk around barefoot in the accommodation. Painful screws were sticking out everywhere. We returned in the evening and wanted to get to bed early, as we arrived early in the morning. Unfortunately, that proved impossible: a woman was practically cooking next to our wall (read: fanning a fire with a gas burner). This led to noise (the restaurant was right next to our cottage) and a nasty cooking smell. Furthermore, only one bed was somewhat comfortable. The other two beds were like blocks of concrete. Also not very clean. For us, this meant only one night instead of three.
The view is beautiful, but the lack of comfort didn't make up for it. Therefore, I don't recommend this remote location. There are nicer places with both comfort and a...
Read moreRode our bikes thru the paddy fields and rural area and temple. There were signs everywhere saying go to scenic pt free along the way. So after doing all the things along the way we stopped off at this resort. But started talking to a nice old lady there who didn't speak a word of English but was friendly and fit. She taught my daughter the 20 min workout and how to walk on the catwalk. She was hilarious. I took some video of her instructing. hopefully she gets to watch this. Here is the link

As for the viewpoint it was a tricky climb to the top. You could either go thru resort or over the small bridge by the parking. Some ok views of the river below with flag and cacti there.
The resort looked very rustic and rooms were all empty with mosquoto nets and real camping style facitilites. Restaurant had lots of stuff but we did not eat or snack...
