You MUST come here! 😍 The owner is the sweetest man and the food is not only incredible but cheap too.
The food is amazing, I got fried spring rolls for 45k which were flavourful and fresh. Then the man came out and gave me free watermelon. He also brought a fan out with an extension cord just so I could be comfortable.
I came here after visiting the Bich Don Pagoda and I am so glad I did.
The man welcomed me in, and whilst I was waiting he toured me around his garden which is absolutely incredible, the time he puts into manicuring the plants and creating animals shapes out of bushes is just incredible. He showed me his wood carvings which he did himself.
It’s a beautiful location tucked into the side of a cliff face.
The couple speak no English but we talked for ages about his garden using Google translate.
Would love to come back!!! 🥹💛💛

Read moreThe location looks great, however I would feel remorse if I would not point out the following. Upon arrival we have been greated at the table by a small girl, maybe 6 years old. She was not there only to say hello but to also take the order. Now even though it was on a Sunday and the girl could obviously read and write, I am sure that bussing tables is not on a mind of a 6 year old on a beautiful Sunday. It is within our power, the tourists, to take note and not condone this practice. If we would all stand up and leave the future will see children of Vietnam playing and doing homework on a weekend rather than bringing fresh coconuts to strangers.
Please don't take this review as a reason not to go there! The location is great and I am sure that the food as well, even though we didn't stayed to see.
However, I urge you to take note, think twice and not...
Read moreWe went for a quick bike ride and found this absolute gem of a cafe. The prices on the menu were very fairly priced. The owner was an amazing host and showed us around the garden. He has created an amazing garden space with hand carved wooden sculptures and lovingly created bonsai art everywhere. He was so eccentric and proudly showed us all of his bonsai animals. If we had more time I would've loved to go back for lunch or dinner. There were a bunch of lights carefully placed around the garden that I could only imagine would look amazing at night. The road in is a bit of a bumpy little dirt road and I'm not sure there are street lights at night so perhaps bring a torch 🤷. I highly recommend checking this place out for a truly unique Vietnamese dining experience. The sweetest smile I've seen in Vietnam so far and a...
