This place is also know Chez Dugong Bai Sao, and let me advice you that after visiting Vietnam for more than 5 weeks now this is the worst culinary experience and service we have had during our journey.

Got to be the worst food ever, nothing like it’s described on the menu, we ordered chicken pizza, described as having torn chicken in the description, instead a substandard pizza with chicken sausage bits all over it. Tasteless and nasty. Our other order was fried eggs with a fresh bread roll, eggs totally undercooked and the fresh bread roll turned out to be two slices of rubbish stale bread. The staff are rude and some are even aggressive they wanted us to pay as they bought the unsavoury food to the table (I wonder why that was)unlike most resorts in Vietnam you don’t have to pay for the beach beds when you eat and drink in their bar. This place told us the beds would be free if we ate there however once we had the beds they insisted we pay for them extra. Please, please, please be aware this is a...

We were at Sao beach and the weather turned so went in to this restaurant for lunch. It’s right on the beach so the view is amazing but that about where the good things end. We ordered beers which were far from cold. My kids ordered spaghetti which they said was “ok” Being an ocean front restaurant, I thought ordering fish and chips would be a safe bet….. There were three small pieces which were simply not edible so I left them. Slicing through the “fish”with a knife had the texture of firm spam. I contemplated giving it to one of the two dogs that were running around the restaurant but couldn’t do it to the poor dogs. The chips that came with the fish whilst edible came in a very small serve. In a nut shell, Garbage food...

It may be a bit confusing to find the way getting in to the beach. However, once you find it, the beach is very beautiful, the water is super clear and clean, and the white sand is really smooth and soft. Also, there are coffee store (highland) and some restaurants and bar right on the beach. Many of the reviews mention about the trash, but let be clear, the beach is very beautiful, only some of the far corners under the tree in the sand would have trash in it. Yes, agreed it is not very clean in those areas, but the beach - it is clean, safe to swim, and kids play around with no problem. To be fair, the beach deserves 5 stars-only some small certain areas make...

Review Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Sharks, crabs, and fish are kept in aquariums that are far too small, creating a cruel and inhumane environment for the animals. Meals featuring shark meat are offered, which is highly problematic as sharks are endangered species crucial to our ecosystems. Additionally, the crabs are bound by their claws, which is outright animal cruelty. The exploitation and mistreatment of these animals are unacceptable. Beyond the ethical concerns, the food is also overpriced and not worth it. Do not support this establishment. Choose a restaurant that values sustainability and ethical practices.
