Very disappointing experience – doesn’t match the reviews or appearance
At first glance, this restaurant looks good from the outside, and the service seemed friendly at the start. However, the actual experience was very frustrating. After placing our order with the beer server, we waited nearly 50 minutes without receiving a single dish. Meanwhile, several tables that arrived after us were already being served. We asked the staff multiple times, but they just told us to wait. Finally, we spoke to the owner and discovered that our order was never placed at all.
To make up for it, they quickly served two dishes—but both were disappointing. The stir-fried beef noodles were extremely salty, and the garlic morning glory was also overly salty. The flavors were simply unacceptable.
On top of the poor service and bad food, the environment was not great either—cramped space, loud noise, and overall not very clean. Despite the crowd (mostly Chinese tourists), the place is clearly overrated. It looks better in pictures than in reality.
This restaurant was highly recommended on the Xiaohongshu (RED) app, but clearly, those recommendations can’t always be trusted. We ended up paying for six beers and two unpleasant...
Read moreIt's Overrated. I thought not to write a review about this restaurant but i left the restaurant with full of disappointment. Came to this restaurant because of the good reviews. However, the food quality was below expectations compared to nearby local restaurants. It was kind of funny — for the first time, I was rejected by the restaurant owner because all the tables were full. We don't mind waiting for a table, but they didn’t seem happy about it.
We ordered Oyster Congee and BBQ seafood.
Oyster Congee – Not bad. The oysters were small but fresh. The portion was small, just enough for two people to have a small bowl of hot congee.
BBQ Seafood & Meat – This was the worst part, as the food was served cold. It should have been served hot from the pan or stove, but everything was wrong. The meat, squid, prawn, mantis prawn, etc., were all served cold. I was wondering if it had been pre-cooked? But we had already waited 40 minutes after the first dish, which itself took about 20–30 minutes. In total, we waited over an hour for just two dishes.
Strongly not recommended due to poor food quality, disorganized service. But Food & Drink at...

They specialise in local grilled seafood and meat, maintaining the high standards they're known for. The dishes are full of flavour, and they even use table grills to keep the food hot, a very nice touch. Would recommend their Seafood Combo…
The staff are friendly and can speak basic English, and the menu is also available in English, so there's no worry about not understanding what you're ordering. The restaurant is easy to find, located on the main road to Sunset Town. Highly...
