the review was left for the security at the entrance to the store. the situation is as follows, they do not let many people into the store if you have a transparent bag with packed fruits, when asked to pack the bag with a loop, they point to a sign with drinks and burgers drawn, but the fruits in the bag do not fall into this category, since we will not walk and eat them around the store, and they are packed. it turns out to be a stupid situation if I go into the store with a black bag in which there will be fruits, then the security will put a loop on it and they will let us in, or I will put them in a backpack. but with a prosaic bag you are not allowed in as if you are a thief or for some reason the security guards do this, I think this is the incompetence of the security guards, please train them and make this store better, since this outrages tourists. I saw crowds of people standing with transparent bags on the street, and their other halves went and bought groceries alone, this spoils the vacation and I think it is unlawful. I also saw a storage room, which is located in the right corner of the store, but it seems that the staff uses it to store their personal belongings, and you are not allowed to use it. I ask you to check the competence of the store manager.
Please do not forget, in addition to beautiful buildings, for tourists, the most important thing should be good service, which is provided by each employee and affects the overall impression of the island and the...
Read moreBeware of "pick pockets". Two days ago (3rd of June) I went shopping for a total of V159,500. When I was going to pay, the cashier told me to pay 160,000 because there is company policy to round to thousands if over V500 and zero if under. So I pay as required. Yesterday night (4 of June) I went shopping again for V237,300. I gave the cashier V500,000 and she returned me a change of V262,000. When I challenged the cashier their company policy about the rounding, she opened her purse and gave me two V500 notes so I took them and left, even though I felt something strange about all this casue I seldom see any V500 notes so far and she's got a bundle of that in her purse. Today I went shopping again and I used the two V500 notes to pay and the cashier refuse to accept cause they are no longer in use. I told her how I got those two notes and request to talk to the shop manager, she accepted the two notes very unwillingly. I am sorry for her because it's not her fault. I have no choice but to just gave them back to where they belong. I know V1,000 is not much but I suppose company policy is there to be followed. Otherwise you should just told the customers everything is round up to thousands no matter what's the odds. Also, I think the cashier who gave me the V500 notes might did that on purpose to steal money from customers. So beware. Stay alert. Don't encourage this...
Read moreI was honestly surprised when I walked into Vietnam Select in Sunset Town — it felt more like a boutique supermarket than a typical convenience store. Cool, clean, and beautifully organized — such a perfect little escape from the heat of the island.
What I loved most was the fresh, pre-cut fruit — super convenient and reasonably priced, which isn’t always the case in touristy areas. They also had snacks, drinks, and a few cute souvenirs, which my friends and I grabbed on the way back to the hotel.
It’s located right next to the Vui-Fest Bazaar, so it’s perfect to stop by after a stroll through the night market. Staff were super friendly and helpful — the whole experience felt just like shopping in a city, but with that relaxed...
