Bella Cafe is a hidden gem that can’t be missed when visiting Phong Nha.
This is the most welcoming and relaxed cafe with a full menu of delicious eats and a great place to hang out, there are even 3 hammocks to enjoy. My husband had many hours working here very peacefully and comfortably which is important as a digi-nomad!
I had hands-down my best meal in Vietnam here, and looked forward to all of my meals! Portions are generous, high quality, fresh and very fair priced.
Their breakfasts were also scrumptious and made for a great start to the day. Everything from coffee to smoothies, their banana pancakes, the pho soup. It was all perfect.
The cafe overlooks a field, where dragonfly’s hover in numbers adding an enchanting air, and the water buffalo move through the mist in close proximity, their babies in tow. All close up while sipping your morning coffee ! This picturesque scene is what we envisioned in coming to Vietnam! While beautiful music stirs quietly in the background, creating a relaxing atmosphere to take it all in and feel nourished between all the adventures that Phong Nha has to offer.
Our 1 year old daughter was also so warmly welcomed and accommodated for, as a parent on the road this help goes a long way in all of the small details ! She had a lovely high chair to eat in which we really appreciated.
Absolutely worth the visit to this special and...

We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch here as a group of families with kids, and it was one of the most memorable meals of our trip. Nestled in a peaceful setting with views of lush rice fields, this cozy eatery offers not just delicious Vietnamese food, but genuine warmth and hospitality.
Moon, our host, welcomed us with a full heart and made everyone—especially the children—feel right at home. She even gave an impromptu cooking class for the kids, which was such a thoughtful and joyful touch.
The food was really good: fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor, and this made us forget the small confusion in our orders. Our favorites included the BBQ pork belly, braised eggplants with tofu, hot chocolate, and the unforgettable egg coffee. Even the drinks were artfully decorated, adding a lovely visual treat to the experience.
If you’re looking for a simple yet neat place to relax, eat well, and feel truly cared for, this is it. Highly recommended for families, food lovers, and anyone seeking a slice of authentic Vietnamese hospitality. The pool was a great plus...
Read moreMoon was delightful (maybe Mun). We tried to go here the night before but because of the heavy rain and how busy the hostel was she was concerned we wouldn't have an enjoyable experience so recommended elsewhere. Her presence and honesty made us keen to go back for food a different day.
It's such a lovely setting, and the food was top quality. The pork stuffed squid was nice and different and the smoothies were very fresh and clearly not artificial.
Well priced and tasty - the accomodation also looked fab (An An Homestay), whilst we were eating we heard people trying to get a room but they were...
