⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I Had to Wait Too Long
I had mixed feelings about my visit to Phong Nha Vegan. I ordered two dishes: spicy noodles and bánh xèo.
The bánh xèo was delicious, crispy, and full of flavor – definitely the highlight of my meal. However, the spicy noodles were disappointing. It turned out to be instant noodles with just a few toppings added. It didn’t taste fresh, and I ended up leaving more than half of it unfinished.
The biggest issue for me was the long waiting time. I had to wait about 30 minutes for my food, even though there were only three customers in the restaurant. The staff mentioned they were short on workers, but with such a small crowd, I expected quicker service.
On a positive note, they offered me a free glass of iced tea, which was a nice gesture.

Read moreWhat an amazing restaurant! We don't usually eat at the same place twice as we like to try different things but we went 3 times to Phang Nha Vegan. The food is so delicious, with a varied menu of traditional vietnamese dishes but all vegan and so tasty. It is run by a husband and wife and her sister, who have been vegan for 9 years and so have perfected vegan cooking. We had the mushroom in lalot leaves (which was the highlight for us), fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, spicey noodle soup with veggies, mushroom tempura, Papaya salad. Oh and you must have the mango and coconut smoothie!! (Even as a desert). All dishes were tasty and well presented. The owners are so friendly and passionate about their veganism along with the food they serve. A major plus is you can enjoy all this amazing food with a spectacular view as they...
Read moreAbsolute must-visit when you're in Phong Nha, regardless if you are vegan or not, the question is more do you like excellent food and great tastes?
I absolutely enjoyed it, came here twice on the same day. My favourite was the braised aubergine clay pot, followed by the braised mushrooms & tofu dish.
The enoki mushroom lolot leaves were also very tasty, was the first time i saw them in Vietnam.
I also loved their iced coffee with milk - sweet, but super delicious. Had several of them ☕
Of course i also tried the mango/coconut smoothie and the Vietnamese pancakes, that are both mentioned many times in the comments here.
Friendly service, cosy Restaurant, you can also sit outside and overlook the river. I was really happy to see how full the restaurant was in the evening! Nearly all tables outside were taken, just shows how great...
