I find it difficult to see how this place has so many positive reviews. My boyfriend and I - both vegetarian - dined here and were thoroughly disappointed with the experience. He ordered vegetable spring rolls, which arrived with a set of meat skewers on the plate. The “vegetables” themselves (anaemic-looking pineapple and cucumber) were flavourless. I ordered a vegetable noodle dish, and had asked if it came with tofu. The waitress said yes, but it arrived without. I then asked to please have some tofu as a side and was served the most disgusting tofu I have ever tasted - watery and virtually inedible. Apart from this my noodles tasted fine, and we also got some sweet potato chips to share which were nice. The staff were friendly but it was frustrating to specifically ask a question about the menu and be given an incorrect answer — also it was very misleading to be served meat on a dish that claimed to be veg-based. The setting next to the river was pretty but not much atmosphere, and lots of insects. Really don’t recommend coming here especially if you’re...

Had Fried Rice and a Chicken drumstick. Fried rice full of prawns etc done in a familiar way as in Singapore. Except some parts of rice was kinda crunchy in a good interesting way. Drumsticks Fried so well, comparable to KFC.
2 young gals, 9 and 7 years old, were curious about me... someone who look like them. yet couldn't speak Vietnamese.. Yes, I'm from Singapore! I was entertained with dances from them too. 🤣 Had a wonderful time interacting with them. Due to them, they made my trip to Phong Nha a very lovely experience and heart-warming. UNFORGETTABLE!!
PS: The view is great!! Just by the river, hence, lovely view of river and mountains after it. Some vegetarian diners complained about the restaurant. I'm not vegetarian, hence can't comment... However, putting a low rating on atmosphere? The view is LOVELY!! I'll visit this place just...

Soursop and avocado smoothies were really excellent. Also really enjoyed the spring rolls with meat sticks (nem lụi) and bánh nậm. The vegetarian soup was pretty bland - wish we’d ordered something else (in which case this might have been a 5 star review!).
Be aware the nước mắm (fish sauce-based condiment) is very spicy here! If that’s not your preference, ask for less chilies (“Ít cay hơn”) or...
