Friendly garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Quảng Bình Province

During our visit to Phong Nha, we had the pleasure of dining at Friendly Garden Restaurant, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. Over the course of our stay, we tried almost every dish on their menu, and each one was an absolute delight.

The food was consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From local specialties to international options, every dish was prepared with care and authenticity, showcasing the chef’s passion for creating memorable meals. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and taste.

One unique highlight was their homemade happy water—a true gem that added a special touch to our dining experience. The warm hospitality of the staff, paired with this local specialty, made every meal feel like a celebration.

The ambiance of the restaurant was equally charming, with its cozy and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the delicious food. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our visits.

If you’re in Phong Nha and looking for a dining experience that combines incredible food, excellent service, and a taste of local culture, Friendly Garden Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. We can’t recommend it...

Very friendly owner, but please check the bbq dish. We would spent our last eve bbq in Phong Nha and got this place recommended. We paid full price for bbq (200k for each dish) but the meat wasn’t BBQed at all. Pork baked in pan and duck defrosted and put in a microwave? We felt a bit abused, both physically and financially after. I told the lady the dish was not BBQed when paying but she would refer to another house like it was BBQed there. And not give any reduction in price which was the least she could offer. The view was amazing, and the place has a lovely garden, but it was a pity to not be able to have rel bbq in Phong Nha. On the main road you will see some places do bbq in the evening. So if you take the bbq dish check first if she wants to put it on.

The reaction of the owner is incorrect: it was not raining at all and the owner did not mention anything about microwave but instead kept insisting...

We showed up feeling seriously hungover—and this place delivered exactly what we needed! The tofu in tomato sauce was packed with flavor, and the dumplings were perfectly made—the dough consistency was spot on, making them disappear fast!

Everything exceeded expectations, and we honestly couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the view from the second floor added a perfect finishing touch to the experience.
