We were greeted warmly but were the only guests in the restaurant, which already made us a bit skeptical. A first look at the menu revealed noticeably high prices. Nevertheless, we decided to order a vegetarian soup and Fried Rice with chicken. When we also wanted to order an herbal tea, the staff couldn’t tell us which herbs were in it. Communication was extremely difficult, due to the employees very poor or nonexistent English skills. After placing our order, we saw one of the staff members carrying two cans into the kitchen—presumably the base for our “freshly made” vegetable soup. This was, without a doubt, the worst and most expensive meal we had in Vietnam. Considering the abundance of fresh, high-quality ingredients available throughout the country—even in small villages—it is incomprehensible how such poor quality is served here. We absolutely cannot recommend dining at this restaurant and would prefer any street food over...
