Hungry Lion Kabulonga — Restaurant in Lusaka Province

I've reviewed a number of Hungry Lion joints in Lusaka and one in Kabwe and the Kabulonga outlet follows the same formula. Good food if you like fried chicken. But there is not much variety outside of the fries, burgers, and salad.

A few things to note with the Kabulonga Hungry Lion is it is situated at a filling station (gas station) which itself is next to a Mall (Kabulonga Central Mall).

This gives it plenty of parking as long as you don't mind the slight walk. Also, it's next to a convenience store so you could "in theory" buy your drinks from there and buy your chicken from the Hungry Lion.

And then there is the Location. Because Kabulonga is a relatively "high class" neighbourhood, you don't get the "vendors offering to sell you something" or "people asking you for money" that plagues other Hungry Lion spots. What you do get though, is high schoolers! Lots of highschoolers like to chill here and some don't even buy the chicken. But they were well behaved when I was there but anticipate teenage behavior regardless.

But fo me, it's still one of the better outlets, and they have to be. Because a KFC is a stones throw away, and that's bearly scratching the surface. Kabulonga Shoping Mall has an anusual amount out eating places and cafes, and even without the mall, there are eating places across the street.

So yeah, this Hungry Lion has to be good, and it is. And I almost forgot, They have both indoor and outdoor...
